Casablanca Hotel Peniscola

"This hotel is really nice and clean and deserves its 4* rating. The Reception staff are friendly and helpful, however, the language barrier can be a problem as only 1 member of staff we came into contact with spoke broken english but don't let this put you off, be a little patient or learn to speak Spanish. Peniscola is a lovely family resort with no mass of english tourists, which was quite a refreshing change. We visited family living in the region so will most definately return for some of their spanish hospitality." - Alan Prest

"The Hotel was 2.5 miles from Peniscola - not 200M as the information. The room was great, but sound insulation between adjacent rooms was very poor. The food was good but not much choice, although we did have different type of potatoes every day, not just chips! The staff were helpful and spoke good English. It was very clean and recently re-decorated. On the beach but too long a walk to the main shops, but a bus stop outside. We like Peniscola." - Anonymous
