Was allowed to check in very early to only room available. But room was close to a roof air vent which made quite a bit of noise. Later I asked if I could change my room and my request was immediately and graciously granted by Damien, the front desk attendant. Excellent overall stay
Service was excellent. Staff were very helpful. Located close to hop on hop off bus which was great. Had a lift as well which is great when you have to carry up a few stairs. Would stay here again.
As a hotel for tourists this is spot on. The room and bathroom were fine, and the hotel quiet and orderly. We did not use any facilities or dining here, but were really pleased we chose it as we got 2 rooms for the price we would normally pay for one, and our third night was free. Location was straight onto the main boulevard of the north of Liffey area, though the main tourist sights were just South of the river. We could walk to most, though, and the hotel was first stop from the airport bus, which was great.
more quiet than I would have predicted given the location on busy street. Location was great. Directions provided for nearly everything, nice bar but limited beer selection. stair accessibility was good.
A lovely comfortable hotel away from the main tourist area but still within walking distance of all the main attractions. Service excellent and staff friendly and helpful.
Found the hotel clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Rooms were on the warm side but otherwise good.
Clean and nice room, more than enough after visiting the pubs.
An excellent hotel in a great location with excellent service. Rated really well with my 8 year old son who was treated as a valued guest not a child
A good central hotel with large rooms. Very helpful front desk staff and free wi-fi in room
Very good hotel, great location. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception. Could not fault anything.
Excellent location, right in the heart of the shopping district. Extremely helpful staff; nothing was a bother at all.
We had no hot water for a shower and there was long hairs in the bath tub...but other than that it was fine.
Excellent location, staff service, restaurant meal and breakfast made this a pleasant stay. Lack of air conditioniung did not affect us in early June. Bathroom cleaning left a bit to be desired with mould and hairs around the floor. However would recommend hotel and would stay again. Net access was expensive however cheap fast internet available next door.
We had a fantastic stay at Cassidys hotel. The staff can not do enough for you. We noticed this especially in the bar and restaurant they made us feel really welcome. Rooms were regularly cleaned and beds were comfy. The rooms did need updating with a picture above the bed not straight (not just off centre) and missing tiles in the bathroom... under the sink where the finishing tiles had not been completed. The central heating system was an old fashoined system and the main pipe runs through all the rooms and if someones heating turns on it does bang throughout the night. It could have done with a lick of paint but these are just minor things that could have been improved. The breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice and cereals and toast. However, we just booked Room Only and paid for breakfast on one morning at 9 euros each. The location is fantastic! It is right on O'Connell street with shops and restaurants 1 minute walk away! . Gem in the centre of Dublin says it all!
Central location on O'Connell St, close to shops, transportation and tourist office. Would recommend this hotel. Not 5 star but very pleasant with bar and restaurant on site, staff very friendly and helpful.
Our room had a sewerage smell which we reported to management. Nice and handy to everything but a bit expensive compared to other hotels around the same area that we have also stayed in.
The staff are very helpfull, the breakfasts are excellent, the room was clean and well supplied with toiletries. Excellent location for all the sites and nightlife
Excellent little hotel- the ONLY downside is that its a bit of a trek to your room due to the underpass to the second building, but thats really picking bones! Great room, good location.
Excellent location and breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay
Great location. Easy walking distance to all major department stores and post office. Bus stop out front for short trip to centre of town to do your 'tourist thing'. The Dublin Hop On-Hop Off bus tour (a must do) stops nearby, get tickets at front desk. Limited off-street secure parking at back of hotel, so make sure you request a parking space well in advance.
