"Beautiful, historical hotel in a great, quiet location close to Como.
Restaurant served lovely food and wine with friendly and prompt service.
The breakfast was pleasantly comprehensive considering it was included in a very low room rate.
Plenty of free parking space (note that many of the hotels in Como don't have parking or, if they do, many charge 10-15 euro per day - so remember to add this cost your room rate when comparing hotels in the area).
Our ground floor room in the main hotel was clean, of a good size with nice views over the garden. The bathroom was a bit tired (not a major issue though)." - Stephen Holland

"Very romantic place! An old castle with a large garden and outdoor swimingpool with pergolas. A triple room was very large with 4 windows (1 in bathroom), only the 3rd bed was rather pitiful (foldaway). As it was an old castle, there were only antic furnitures, so, do not expect high-quality design. Decent breakfest with a lot of cookies. For the surroundings it deserves its 4 stars." - Elina Silina
