Got there early, rooms were available and they let us check in. Unloaded and walked to Disney. Couldn't have been more perfect. We've stayed here many times in the past year and a half and have had no problems.
The staff was extremely helpful in accepting my O*bitz reservations, considering that Or*itz apparently NEVER sent the reservation paperwork to them. Getting extra blankets at 1AM in the morning was very prompt!
no bed bugs found. One block to disney main entrance. The AC/Heating unit was very noisy, turn it off if you can.
there is ordor in the room. some staff can be noisy
Nothing fancy here, but basic and close to DL. Beds on firm side. Older TVs, but who is here to watch tv anyway!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Castle Inn for a weekend in Disneyland. The rooms were average, nothing special, but they were clean. The hotel is less than a ten minute walk from Disneyland, so I would definitely stay there again.
The service (at check in, when requesting extra towels and pillows, etc.) was friendly, prompt and helpful. The room was clean, fairly roomy, the beds comfortable, the A/C worked well. That's the good news. The not so good news is that the hotel is showing it's age. The walkways are uneven and bumpy, there are stains in various places in the bathroom, the elevator is musty and the floor wasn't the cleanest. Also the shower has good water pressure and plenty of hot water but it didn't drain fast enough so you ended up standing ankle deep in water before you were done. All in all, it was fine for a relatively inexpensive place to sleep between events but I wouldn't book there again for more than a one-night stay.
This was our second stay here. The first time was horrible. We stayed in a family suite and the curtains broke when we opened them, the closet doors were broken and so were the dresser drawers. They kept falling on top of the drawer below so you couldn't use the dresser. However it was close to Disneyland and clean. Which was very important because we have a baby who is crawling. We didn't have many options on this trip and decided to give them a second chance because we really like how close the hotel is to Disneyland, we got a great rate and our kids really liked staying there. This time around our stay was much better we stayed in a standard room which was plenty of room for our family. The only problems we had this time were the closet doors kept coming off the track and a screw came out of the door plate and the door wouldn't close. Unfortunately we didn't notice it until we got back from Disneyland. We let the hotel know and they fixed it right away. Other than that we had a nice stay, enjoyed the pool and the beds weren't bad. We like them on the firmer side and we would stay again.
The hotel is located right across the street from Disneyland and didn't take long to walk to the park. Location is great. Check in was smooth as well as check out. Rooms were clean (we were only there to sleep). Beds could have been more comfortable. Customer service is top shelf. [...](manager) rocks!
This was neither our best nor our worst stay. The room did look in need of repairs, with a bench that was separating from the wall and a bath faucet that seemed to be doing the same. This won't be my first choice the next time around, but my husband is open to returning because of the location and the fact that they had everything we needed. The pool area was nice, as well, with a toddler pool in addition to the normal pool and jacuzzi. The amenities were pretty good, and we didn't eat at the hotel.
This hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were very large with a microwave, mini fridge, and a blow dryer. I would reccommend this hotel.
Would prefer to have included in basic room accomodations the following: microwave, breakfast (continental, buffet or otherwise & internet access). Other than that, the rooms seem very clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the layout of the facility, including the pool area, excellent. Good location with walking distance proximity to Disneyland. We have stayed here previously in a "Family Suite" and would certainly stay here again.
Great to stay just across from Disneyland!! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful
Pleasant staff, comfortable hotel
