"Another nice hotel,formerly girls' school,formerly Convent.Near the River Shannon providing some pleasant grounds in which to walk. Smart interior;helpful staff but no lifts so a hefty haul up the stairs to the room. Spacious room,which had a faulty light bulb but... NO hot water for either shower or sink.. Food very good and plentiful. Breakfast choice a bit spartan. All in all a nice hotel but not for those lacking muscle or energy to get up and down the stairs. There is a leisure centre for various activities but we did not enquire. Plenty of outside parking areas. " - Charles Walker
