Laundry room available, not necessarily in good working order. This hotel is close to three different rail lines, get a map! Town Hall is the closest. No cooked breakfast: cereal and toast buffet available self-service at more or less reasonable price. Many other coffee shops in the neighborhood, which is excellent for shopping and department stores, as well as late night snacks and Korean restaurant scene at Liverpool Street to the south. Good bar, you are apt to meet members of the Masonic Club, by which the hotel is operated. Quiet and club-like atmosphere. Front desk is efficient and courteous. Room small but convenient.

We only stayed one night as we were going to a show at the State Theatre, and chose this hotel for its location. It's very central, and close to the monorail. The hotel lobby is lovely, has been beautifully kept and it's like stepping back into the 1930s. The room was small, but comfortable and totally in keeping with the era. The ensuite has been updated and is very clean and modern. Overall, we were very happy with the hotel, no complaints, and loved the location.

A great location in the CBD. Room was a bit small but staff very friendly and helpful. Building works next door a bit noisy during the day but stopped at night. Will stay again when in Sydney

This hotel is part of the Masons Club which is not included in the advert. On arrival I felt like they were doing me a favour by letting me stay, though I did warm to the staff later. The room was small but it was exactly what I needed, a safe place to sleep.Great central location, I discovered that it was only a 5 minute walk around the corner to Town Hall railway station. I was very disappointed with the lack of meals.I was refused room service at 8.05pm on a Saturday night!!Unavoidably noisy with building going up next door. Overall, for the price it is worth considering if you just need somewhere to sleep.

This boutique hotel was excellent for our purposes. The service was excellent, the staff very helpful with advice re eating places and places to visit. It is in the centre of the action. I would highly recommend it although some of the the rooms are small.

Excellent location in the heart of Sydney. Great cheap breakfast 3 blocks away within easy walking distance. Only negative is small rooms and small double bed. Everything else wonderful and the Raegh bar cheapest drinking in Sydney.

Fantastic location - only a 5 min walk to Town Hall station, Pitt St. Mall, Safeway and QVB. Close proximity and easy to get to Darling Harbour. Room was a little bit small but okay for a couple and if only staying for a few nights. Wouldn't stay for more than 3 nights though. Bed was only a double and not that comfortable but otherwise clean with fantastic service and polite staff. Would stay again.

For my purposes of attending a conference, its location is great for city, Darling Harbour, The Rocks & Bridge/Opera House. Thius trip it was unfortunate that there was construction going on on the vacant adjoining block which was abig negative for sleeping as they started by 7am and it was all jack hammers and vibrations. Not the hotels fault though.
