Catalonia Avinyo Hotel Barcelona

The hotel was well presented and in a fantastic location - close to transport and night life. The staff at the hotel were very helpful!!... If it is your first time in Barcelona, i would highly recommend this hotel....

The hotel is located perfect in the old part of town - the gotic area and provides nice rooms. The hotel has a beautifull roof terrace with a pool and jacuzzi and a fantastic view. That was great and the perceft place to take a break from the sightseeing during daytime and still enjoy the sunny weather in more private and relaxed surroundings.

Room vas very hot (even in december) as air conditioning did not work properly. Othervive nice and clean hotel with excelen location.

This small hotel is located in the very center of old town, near Rambla and other restaurant/bar streets. Toilets and showers are clean, newly decorated and quite large. Nodern style hotel. Be aware, that some "garden-view" rooms have windows to hotel corridor (!), not to garden. Most of the rooms have "normal windows".

Good location and nice reception staff - and nothing else good can be told about this hotel. Worst features: airconditioning not working properly, no windows in the room (!), a bit moulded shower cabin. Definitely overpriced.

Beautyfull hotel in a very nice city!

Excellent location and very welcoming. The breakfast was especially good. Just a short walk from many of the sights. Room comfortable and very clean.

A chic contemporary hotel in a cool area for a great price. Quiet rooms,great shower,blackout curtains-perfect for the morning/afternoon after. Do it.

Rooms were very basic, the lobby is certainly the flashiest bit! Bed was hard as a rock. BYO toiletries as the cheap ones supplied were, well, cheap! The pool looked larger in the photo than in real life, but it was nice to have somewhere to go to lie about, even if there are limited daybeds. Location was excellent.

An excellent hotel with excellent staff and in a fantastic location. We only stayed for 1 night but wouldn't hesitate to stay for longer.....in fact we're already planning another trip to Barcelona and will definately be staying at the Catalonia Avinyo Hotel. This is no way a negative point,as it didn't bother me in the slightist,but be aware that some rooms face the inside of the hotel so don't have any natural light. Looking forward to our next visit to Barcelona and the Catalonia Avinyo Hotel.

A very clean, modern and basically furnished hotel. Excellent location with many great shops and restaurants located nearby. The staff were really helpful and my teenagers loved the free internet. I needed some documents printed and the staff were extremely helpful. We only stayed one night prior to our cruise and would definitely stay there again. There were no windows in our two rooms, but not a problem due to the quirky design.

Premises modern and very pleasant.Staff with good english were helpful with directions, even to a chic new restaurant Chardonnay, nearby. Plenty of bars,and every kind of food imaginable and shopping adjacent, Near Rambla and subway and Rail station to France.Note only the one night but we have been to Barcelona before.

Nice hotel, very well situated. We had a room with daylight. Noisy (screaming drunks) at night. Breakfast in cellar, could be better. Dinner at "Actual", nearby, was great!

Nice brand new hotel, close to Ramblas and old city center. Be carefull; the pool is not heated..

This hotel is in an excellent location very close to Plasa Reial and la Rambla in the heart of the city... The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very new and everything is finished very well. The breakfast is excellent also. I have only two gripe's The hotel is decorated in a very minimalist way and the swimming pool on the roof is tiny with no chairs around it so if you want to get some sun you have to lie on the decking. Not too serious I know but if you like your comfort....
