very good
Ok and clean rooms but not worth €200 per night. You get a feeling that the whole hotel is in need of some renovation. Nice location, at the Plaza Espanya.
The hotel is not bad, but its not in the downtown. (approx 30 minutes walk from there). I dont really understand what is the 4 stars for. I would rank it as a 3 stars hotel.
We found this hotel very reasonably priced for the location. It is a typical businessman's/conference hotel. Would stay again.
nice hotel, friendly staff, perfect acces to metro and busses, situated in middel of a square with a lot of traffic, but can only be recommanded, high standard
very good breakfast buffet, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, however internet access fees are very high (10 min = 2 euros) and there was an extra charge for using the safe in the room. in a 4-star hotel, this should be a complementary service. great view from the roof top.
The most shocking was the price of the parking - 40 euro for 1.5 days!!! And it turns out it is totally independent from the hotel although it is located right under it and advertised as "hotel parking".... Otherwise, great location but the hotel itself is quite random and boring. Safe box is another 3.50 Euro per night. Breakfast and taxes are not included...
Nice clean hotel. Excellent location, great views. Metro in front of Hotel. Car parking underneath building (not included in price!)
This is a nice hotel in a good location. However, there is no concierge, and one bellboy who I never saw carrying luggage. The front desk staff was aloof. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hallways and rooms are attractive. The metro and airport bus is right outside the hotel.
Rooms at the front of the hotel are subject to traffic noise throughout the night.
A great hotel in a very good location. The right side of the town for travel to the airport, and with a metro station outside the door you just cannot go wrong! Views from some of the plaza facing windows are fantastic and the hotel roof swimming pool area is superb! Will definitely be visiting there again.
Overall a very good hotel which delivers on it 4* rating. Rooms are clean and well equiped, and a nice Spanish lady pops round every evening and turns down your bed and leaves chocolates on the bedside table. The gym is OK, with a running and bike machine; a bench press but with small weights; and two resistance machines - one for legs and the other for arms. I didn't see the pool. There's good Wi-Fi coverage provided by Swisscom Eurospot. However the cost for this is CRAZY !!! I don't understand why some hotel continue to charge for internet access. If you can handle is little bit of street noise (the windows are pretty well sound-proofed) ask for a room on the 5th or 6th floor facing the Plaze de Espana - you'll get an awesome view of the Plaza, the impressive Fira Barcelona and the hills of Montjuic.
Very convenniently placed to go everywhere in Barcelonna and very well isolated from external noises
We had a fantastic time in the Hotel. Look forward to returning soon. I have stayed at three hotels in Barcelona and have found this to be the best. Location was excellent with the fountains just over the road. Amazing show at 10pm on friday, saturday and sunday. Not to be missed!
It was a very nice experience! The hotel is located just in front of the Fira (the expo centre), the Airport bus stops just in front of the hotel, several bus lines stop there too and there is a metro (subway) station just in front of the hotel entrance! The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful and the room and installations were new, clean and quiet! Even if the hotel is in front of one of the busiest plazas (Plaça D'espanya), exterior rooms are extremely quiet!
Very good hotel with excellent facilities. Well situated to give every opportunity to see a great city.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
Excellent location with beautiful panorama from its front, very good breakfast and service.
The hotel from start to finish was very good, unfotunatly did not stay for Dinner, but if the breakfast was anything to go on then it was great. I would stay at this hotel anytime.
Extremely helpful staff with a very pleasant manner. Breakfasts very good. Metro stop just outside hotel so good for getting around I didn't use any facilities apart from room, bar, cafeteria for breakfast and front desk. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
