"Apart from the fact that the hotel is advertised as having air conditioning and they don't put it on it was fine. The breakfast was 2nd to none. If you get a room at the front it is noisey all day and night. the rooms are triple glazed but 6 lanes of traffic noise comes through. Staff were very good all round most speaking a little English. Ideal location for seeing everything that Madrid has to offer and that is plenty." - Frank Elswood

The location of HOTEL A. GAUDÍ could not be better: Madrid's Gran Vía at the intersection of Alcalá Street, a few metres from the Plaza Cibeles and Puerta del Sol. All of Madrid's main attractions are in walking distance from the Museum golden triangle to the Congreso de los Diputados to the "tapas" bars, etc.
The remains of the building date from the beginning of the century, although it opened as a hotel only a few years ago. It was renovated in 2000 and still has the original neoplateresque façade of 1917.
In the "La Pedrera" restaurant, our clients can sample excellent Catalonian and international dishes. The hotel also has a coffee-bar, meeting, convention and banquet rooms.
The hotel also has other facilities such as a fitness centre with a gym, a sauna and a jacuzzi free of charge. |
