Catalonia Punta Del Rey Hotel Tenerife Island

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in January 2010 and the staff were friendly and approachable at the reception. The only difficulty is that it is far from any other places of sightseeing, obviously you would have to get to Santa Cruz to travel to other sightseeing places. Having said that the local buses 122,123,124 run every 15 to 30mins and the bus stop literally 2 secs from hotel on both sides of the road. The rooms are clean and a decent size, generally environment is lively and scenery very good. I stayed on the 9th floor and my room facing the swimming pool and seaside was beautiful .Food was tasty and had a good variety of salads, cold and hot foods to choose from. Entertainment in the evenings were sufficient but started too late on some days. I expected to see an average of a few young adults or couples as majority were lots of retired and older couples. Its not an ideal hotel for young vibrant people if its all predominantly older couples. Overall services is good

Magnificent place to spend the holidays I was looking for. Kind service.

The quality of the food served both on breakfast and dinner was not satisfactory. For a vegeterian in fact extremely poor and no options available even if negotiated.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful.
