"We did not feel that the hotel was value for money, the beds were very uncomfortable, the hotel pool neeed cleaning, the gym facilities consisted of 3 machines and the prices were very high - €11 for a sandwich ! The only positive feedback was the location, it was a 2 mins walk to Las Ramblas and a nice evening stroll down to the marina. We would not chose to saty here again" - Anonymous

"The hotel is very nice and clean and near Plaza Catalonia and the great Rambla. The smoking rooms are in the first floor and located a side walk (no view).The spa including the gym was closed which disappoint me. I recommend it for a short stay, but ask if the spa is open or not during your stay if you are interested on it. " - Anonymous

The hotel Catalonia Ramblas is located in the historic centre of Barcelona, few metres away from la Plaza de Catalunya and the famous Ramblas.
Housed in the former head office of the newspaper “La Vanguardia”, the hotel is a beautiful modernist building dating back to the beginning of the XIX century and designed by Josep Majó Ribas.
