Catalonia Ramblas Hotel Barcelona

Great Hotel, Location is excellent at the heart of Ramblas. Not the best in terms of luxury or character (v large hotel) but the rooms are massive for Euope and no issues with cleanliness. If you can get it for a good price dont think twice

We did not feel that the hotel was value for money, the beds were very uncomfortable, the hotel pool neeed cleaning, the gym facilities consisted of 3 machines and the prices were very high - €11 for a sandwich ! The only positive feedback was the location, it was a 2 mins walk to Las Ramblas and a nice evening stroll down to the marina. We would not chose to saty here again

Large nice room with good windows which helps to get some rest in the noisy surroundings of the Ramplas area. Parking is a problem, but this is probably the same anywhere in the center.

Good value for money

The hotel is very nice and clean and near Plaza Catalonia and the great Rambla. The smoking rooms are in the first floor and located a side walk (no view).The spa including the gym was closed which disappoint me. I recommend it for a short stay, but ask if the spa is open or not during your stay if you are interested on it.

Lovely hotel and great location near Las Ramblas.

After a problem with check in to our original room due to smoking in a non smoking room, we got upgraded to a suite for the week. Awesome service, made our stay truly memorable.

stayed there for 4 nights and was pleased; I liked that the room rate included the internet charge; certainly a hotel where I would return.

Very nice place, nice spa facilities and rooms, very closed to Catalunya place and La Rambla, easy from teh airport (20mn)

Spent a weekend in Barcelona staying at this hotel - the hotel location is very good and the facilities are superb, especially the spa area. There is very limited exercise equipment but the pool area is great.

was undergoing some building work , but was very clean , great location and lovely to have pool to swim in after a hot day sightseeing ! difficuly with internet access which upset many residents and reception staff unable to direct people to nearby cheaper ! internet cafe .

It is often the little things in life that cause most irritation and with hotels it is no different. In any hotel costing over £200 per night I expect to be wowed by the thoughtful, little touches that make the stay special. When a wastepaper bin is not provided or a guide to the hotel facilities or an iron or trouser press then, despite everything else being perfectly good irritation is the result. That said, the hotel is in an excellent position as a base for seeing the best of Barcelona, the rooms are large and tastefully minimalist, the staff are helpful and professional and the hotel in good condition.

Excellent location, very modern hotel and the breakfast was really good. We had a very quiet room so we were not disturbed by any noise whatsoever.

We can really recomend this hotel! The location was perfect if you want to be near the Ramblas area. Our room was superb,the bathroom felt luxurious! The only negativ thing was the expansive breakfast,15 euro p/p.

I would highly recommend this hotel. I travelled to Barcelona for the first time and was happy that the things written on hotel's website were all true - most interesting locations were indeed in just a few minutes of walk, close to the shopping area, restaurants, Ramblas and a touristic bus stop is just around the corner. Very friendly staff, very clean and modern rooms. I haven't taken breakfast and did not regret - plenty of cafes around, so you can get a bfst easily for much less money. If you book thru this agency make sure to print out the confirmation and the part where it says that you already paid a certain amount to the agency. I did so and unfortunately it still took me 30mins at 4.30am in the morning to prove to the receptionist that he needed to charge me 100 euro less. Otherwise, a great hotel and a great location. Strongly recommended!
