The CATALONIA TRANSIT hotel is located in the railway station of Lleida (AVE-high speed train-terminal) and is therefore an excellent place to stay for all those who travelling by train. The hotel is a beautiful classical building in the city’s financial district and a mere 5 minutes from the historic centre. The station was built in at the beginning of the century in 1916, and the hotel opened in 1996. It preserves the classical spirit of the building, which has been declared Historic Heritage site of the city.

The hotel offers in the web a buffet breakfast, but they actually serve a poor continental breakfast, in the railway station bar.
The hotel is nice even if is located in the railstation. The information about the location were not very clear from the beginning.

A really god hotel for a quite low fare! Excellent located at the railwaystation and even if there were trains all time you didn't hear anything at all in the hotel!
The location of this hotel is excellent when travelling by train as you can access it by the platform. Rooms are excellent and the hotel staff friendly and courteous. The only moan I would have is the breakfast facilities. This is an area within the railway station cafeteria sectioned off from the main area and very limited on the breakfast menu. For the price you could live with that though and afford to eat out at a nearby cafe.
We were only in the hotel overnight as a stop over on a railway journey, so being in the railway station was great. However we didn't have much time to try all the hotel's facilities.
