"Hotels are expensive in Melbourne so this is an ok mid-range hotel. The room was smallish but comfortable for my sister and I. Our only gripe was we weren't asked for smoking or non-smoking when we checked in and were unwittingly put on the only smoking floor. However, the next morning when we smelt smoke and my sister was feeling asthmatic, we were very quickly able to move to another floor. The service couldn't have been better in that respect. Breakfast was simple but fresh and included in the price. Location is fantastic although don't expect a scenic view from your window. Overall, a good place to stay." - Anonymous

"Our 2 nights stay was very comfortable (especially after we learnt how to turn the airconditioner off!!) Older style hotel, with smaller rooms, but comfy beds (could do with new pillows as ours were very flat and hard!)I was going to say it was nice and quiet, but there was big renovations going on accross the Mall to Myer or David Jones and during the night it did get a bit noisy for us. Breakfast was nice, basic continental. Staff very helpful looking after our bags till our later flight. " - Anonymous

From Tullamarine Airport take the Tullamarine Freeway to the city. Exit at Flemington Road, continue along Flemington Road until you reach the roundabout. Turn right (south) to enter Elizabeth Street. Turn left (east) at Victoria Street and then right (south) at Russell Street. Turn right (west) into Little Collins Street. After crossing Swanston Street, the Causeway Lane is on the right. Cafe Laurent is on the corner. The entrance to the hotel is 50 metres up Causeway Lane located on the left-hand side. |

Hotel address is 327 Bourke Street Mall , but hotel reception is located in Causeway Lane which runs between Little Collins Street and Bourke Street Mall (just before Elizabeth Street). 24 hour reception. Bags can be left with reception for early arrival |

The hotel has an arrangement with Wilson Parking located at 181 Little Collins Street. Cost is $16.00 per exit during weekdays and $6.50 per exit during weekends. Exit tickets have to be purchased from hotel reception prior to exiting the car from the car park.
Due to the central location, a car is not required when staying in this centrally located hotel. |
