"Whilst the hotel is in a fantastic location right on the beach, some work needs to be done on their service levels and pricing. Our room was right up the back in a concrete block, very hot and over priced for what it was. Then the water didn't work! Eventually they moved us to a larger much more pleasant room without any extra charge. The reception and restaurant staff could work on their attention to detail however, which will hopefully increase their room occupancy. The place was very empty, unlike the bungalows next door. The menu could also be de westernised as surely most travellers going to such an island in Thailand are interested in some local specialities." - Anonymous

"do not go there if you want to relax and enjoy a calm and serene atmosphere! 1. The resort being located on a beach accessible only by boats, you will constantly hear long boats (and believe me, they are loud) passing by, entering and leaving the bay. Also, the boat fare being expensive, you may end up spending most of your vacation at the resort where there is not much to do. 2. Every Sunday night, a nearby backpacker place throws a party and they blast music until 5:00 am. No sleeping possible! 3. The restaurant is expansive and there are only very limited choices. We chose this place for its proximity to the Full Moon Party, without being located to the Haad Rin Beach. We ended up frustrated the partying anyway. If you are looking for a resort/bungalow on a beach close to the FMP and you want to party, look into the possibility to stay at the blue bungalows (very cheap backpackers place on Haad Yuan). If you are looking for anything else, do not stay at Haad Yuan." - Annie Gauthier
