"Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in organising any tours we wanted. The rooms were clean and had some really good views of the mountains to the north. The only complaint was the bed was very squishy (not so good for bad back sufferers) but it was livable with for a week. Location excellent right behind the town centre and good for the bus terminal if like me you prefer to walk instead of be dropped at your hotel door after excursions. "A cosy hotel located right in the heart of Reykjavik. Staff are friendly and helpful, there is an internet terminal available in the lobby for use by guests, the room rate includes a typical scandinavian breakfast buffet and, most importantly, the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Due to the central location of the property, anywhere in 'downtown' Reykjavik can be reached on foot, including the domestic airport, a pleasant 30 minute stroll away! Buses to other regions stop practically outside the hotel and tour buses will pick up and drop off at the hotel itself." - Omar Zekria

Right in the heart of the city center, next to Reykjavik's main shopping and restaurant street, CenterHotel Klopp is ideally located to explore the city on foot since the city's main attractions are within a short walking distance of the hotel.
CenterHotel Klopp is a comfortable hotel with a modern Scandinavian design. All 46 rooms are non-smoking and have wooden floors, private bathrooms, hairdryer, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar, satellite TV, radio and high-speed internet access. If you don't bring a laptop with you, you can still access the internet for free from a computer in the lobby. Some rooms on the top floor have a nice view over the bay and nearby mountains.
Breakfast from our breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. It's served in our comfortable sitting room ot the ground floor every day between 7 and 10 AM . There you can sit down any time of day, relax and enjoy a complementary cup of coffee or tea.
At CenterHotel Klopp a 40 person conference room is available at a resonable price, ideal for meetings, lectures and small conferences. |

Keflavik International Airport (KEF): Approximate driving time is 45 minutes and distance is 47 kilometres (30 miles).
Bus services run to and from the airport in connection with arriving and departing flights. The Flybus services the hotel both to and from the airport; guests should notify the flybus driver or can book with the hotel’s reception. The Flybus single fare is 1100 ISK per person. Taxis are available at the airport and can be booked from the hotel reception; approximate rate is 8500 ISK for a single journey.
Driving directions: From the airport take the first right at the roundabout and continue in the direction of Hafnarfjordur. Follow signs for Reykjavik along the coast road Saebraut. Follow Saebraut until the left-hand turn onto Snorrabraut, then turn left up Snorrabraut, and turn right where Hverfisgata Street intersects with Snorrabraut. Follow Hverfisgata to the hotel on the left, where Klapparstigur Street intersects with Hverfisgata. |

If guests check-in in the evening/night the front door might be locked but there's a doorbell that should then be rung and there is always someone to open the door since there's 24 hours reception. |
| Car parking: |
A free parking lot is to be found at the end of CenterHotel Klopp's street Klapparstigur, where it intersects with Skulagata street (ask in the reception for more details).
There are also a lot of parking spaces and parking garages all around the hotel. There one has to pay parking fees from 10-18 on week days and 10-13 on Saturdays, there are no parking fees on Sundays. |
