Central Brunswick Apartment Hotel Brisbane

Good clean rooms...beds need upgrading

Stayed for one night only, in Brisbane for State of Origin match. Check in easy and professional.Room was a one bedroom "apartment" (room 511) which had an unusual arrangement where the bedroom was upstairs on a mezzanine floor. Room was basic but reasonably clean, old fahioned CRT tv's both of which were quite small, 20" in living area and 14" in bedroom. The bed was too soft for me but I slept well enough. the kitchen had a two plate cooktop,a microwave oven, kettle, toaster and had pans, crockery and cutlery if you wanted to cook some basic food in the room. It certainly wasn't 4 or 5 star accommodation but I would have no problem in recommending it to other travellers going to Brisbane. It represented good value for money in a city where hotel accommodation on match days is expensive.

Have stayed many times over the years tho some rooms starting to look a bit tired. Staff very helpful. Great location with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Will stay again.

Overall our stay was good. The first room we checked into reeked of cigarettes when we specified non-smoking, however once I informed reception they moved us into a new room. There is a bit of a walk from the secure car park through the courtyard where the cafes & restaurants are to get back to the reception, then up the hotel so if you had a lot of luggage it would be a bit of an effort. Excellent location with lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Short stroll to Ann St.

very well located hotel, close to restaurants shops public transport, but starting to show age. would stay there again

A very well placed Hotel and good night life in the area surrounding the hotel. Room was lovely, one could face the city and night lights or face the restaurants and nice smelling food below.Pillows need to be better as they were too soft,fold away bed was rough, but main bed was quite good.

My booking had to be re-arranged & staff were extremely helpful. Also, when coming in & out recption staff always cheery & interested

Overall it was a great experience. A bit noisy at times but that's what you get for staying in The Valley.

clean and comfortable close to everything and free parking made for a good stay close to the nightlife of the valley great for a night out

This hotel was ideally situated , close to all needful things such as train stn, shops, resturants. comfy bed but pillows very soft and fold down lounge, not comfy at all to sleep on, springs stuck out. otherwise clean and handy to bus.

There was no microwave which I thought in today's time would be part of the kitchen like water jug etc. Room was a good size and location was great - close to city, chinatown and transport and great selection of neighbouring restaurants/IGA etc.

All the basics are here, lots of eating places within a minutes walk. Easy access to story bridge to head south from the city.

very good value especially regarding its position and big room. coffee shop next door has beautiful breakfasts. would stay here again, no problem.

Hotel very good with spacious room and good outlook to courtyard. Lifts give a slightly bumpy ride.

Nice facility and lots of amenities around, though the area is quite noisy and congested.

Bedroom in 1 bedroom apartment had no fan. as a result the bedroom was hot while lounge was cold.

Lovely. Not a problem with this place. Very comfortable.
