Excellent apartment, close to shops and in the inner city. Clean, roomy and with plenty of facilities if you were staying longer.
Looked great on the web page. Great location, beautiful views, tidy unit but no washing facilities as were advertised and had to pay for internet use when web page said free internet.

Luxury 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of the city, 2 queen beds.
Spend a night away in New Zealand's capital and relax in one of our newly refurbished Metro Studios Continental room serviced breakfast for 2.
Very avearge and dated
Very noisy room but we were moved when we complained. The beds are very bouncy. A lot of noise from the corridor as well as the street. This hotel is very convenient for theatre going. Good place to stay during the festival of you can put up with the limitations. Cooking facilities in our "studio" room consisted of a microwave and toaster only. Probably better to pay more for an apartment with a view and proper kitchen on a high floor away from the noise.
Good central location. Easy acces to everything.
The 2 bedroom apartment was reasonably spacious for 4 people but there were only 2 dining chairs & not enough lounge seating. Otherwise well situated, clean & comfortable. Would stay here again.
Stain on divan where child had wet the bed. Apart from that all was very satisfactory.
Very good central location, within walking distance of all city attractions, close to buses, supermarket, shops, restaurants. For a "1 bedroom apartment", I was expecting more in the way of kitchen facilities - there was just a cupboard with microwave, bar fridge and a few dishes - not even a tea towel. Although I was located on the 7th floor, the apartment was quite noisy, with strong winds howling at the windows and through the bathroom extractor fan. There was also noise from youth congregating at all hours outside the 24 hrs McDonalds just across the road.
We found the young lady on reception very friendly and helpful. We were in a unit on the 15th floor which did leave us exposed to "whistling" wind. We had booked a harbour view apartment, the harbour view however was around a corner of the bedroom. The apartments were very central and very handy to all we wanted to see in the city. We found the facilities to self cater in the apartment very sparse, a microwave and toaster was all that was supplied, however there was nowhere to wash dishes and no dishcloth or tea towel supplied. The bathroom was tired and the wash basin had chips out of it. The bathroom door did not shut properly. I would stay here for the convenience if it was just overnight but would not recommend staying here for a longer term if you want to self cater.
We had a great 4 days in Wellington and the staff of the hotel realy made our visit that much better. We realy can not flaw the cleaning staff in particular, a humungous thankyou to them. The central location meant that we were able to head off in any direction and see all that we wanted. Thankyou Central City Apartment Hotel and there staff
Very convenient location with spacious unit for 2 for a few days. We had a small problem with the plumbing, but were offered an alternate room immediately upon mentioning it. This was not necessary but we were impressed at the offer.
An excellent apartment hotel, reasonably located with many bus routes into downtown just a few minutes from the front door. I would stay here again, next time I'm in Wellington.
We were there to put our girl on a plane to Australia as an unaccompanied minor. The hotel did not change their clocks for daylight saving. We made the plane but just in time even though we thought we were there hours before departure. When we talked to the hotel they had not changed their clock on the computer but they were also not accepting of responsibility. Other than the service it was great.
We really found this complex to be in a very central position. The service was great with the receptionist informative and friendly. Even tho it was situated right in the heart of wellington it was relatively quiet
Very modern nice clean hotel right in the heart of town. Pubs and restaurants everywhere. The shower was nice and hot and huge!!!
Centrally positioned in Wellington within walking distance of all major facilities, Te Papa, Parliament, theatres, cable car, restaurants and the waterfront. Will definately use again.
This is this the second time we have stayed at the central city appartments. Both times we have enjoyed our stay staff are great and the location is fabulous.
A great place in terms of being in a central area. Service was very good, and people very friendly, and quick to assist. The only problem was the size of the room, lack of w/drobe space, and narrow space meant that the toilet roll holder always jabbed into one when using the lavatory.
great place to stay but with it so close to town next time id get a late check out. one prob i did have is the tv reception is pretty bad.
One staff member very helpful but a trainee left us standing at the desk while on a private call and had not done our wakeup call. Otherwise a very good hotel.
