"I called in to Beaune for an overnight stop on the way to the Alps. Having driven around the town walls many times I was intrigued by what lay within and was keen to find accommodation inside the "Old Town". The hotel was clean, comfortable and ideally positioned. Neither accommodation nor food were luxururious. It was, however, welcoming and very good value for money considering the location. Beaune was worthy of more than an hour long glance the following morning. Would return to both hotel and town without hesitation." - Mark Shadforth
