Centrale Hotel Venice

Very good management. Small room but clean and adequate

Nice place to live in Mester.

The hotel is well-situated. Trouble with its location is that there is next to no parking. They have a deal with one of the public car parks but it is like 500 m away. Close to the mall, there is free parking from 8pm till 8am ... if you can find a spot. Reception was a bit brisk but improved on second contact. The bar/restaurant next door is cheap and serves very nice food.

Good choice of hotel, if you would like to get away from crowd (lots of tourists in Venice even in low season..) for a peaceful stay. The rooms are clean and reasonable size. Only down side was the first night quadruple room they given to us was a tripple room with extra bed, which is very very small and really have limited space to move around. The hotel explained that they were fully booked and no more standard quadruple room for us, but they promised to change for us the next day and they did. The hotel staff was quite helpful and can speak english. They recommended a good restaurant nearby (wihtin walking distance) for our dinner.

Hotel in need of renovation. Nice staff. Small rooms. Noise from hallway woke me up several times. Clean place but very worn. Close to bus to Venice and several pubs andrestaurants.

Hotel lacks lustre, nothing fancy, breakfast basic. On the plus side: an easy bus ride to Venice.

Fantastic location on Mestre. Bus from airport stops 5 blocks from hotel (3 Euros per person). Bus on the corner, 15min to Venice boats (Roma Station). Clean and quiet. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Breakfast ok. Bether breakfast for 5 Euros more, but dont worthwile. Internet not free. Hairdryer terrible. Kids are very welcome. Best price-quality option if you just want to know Venice (not staying in the hotel).

Although we had continental B&B no chance of getting hot drinks except at breakfast , Staff were always very pleasant and helpfull We unfortunatly consided our trip with unfourtunatly with groups of children staying and was very noisey into the early hours of the morning (2.30am). Overall though a satisfactory hotel

the hotel room (quad room) where we stayed was tooo small for 4 people. not even a kettle for hot water was provided. cleanliness was average. continental breakfast was a shame.

Staff in reception excellent and very good english. Continental breakfast very poor. Buffet breakfast good but cost you extra. We went into restaurant beside hotel and witnessed drugs being sold and the same people there day and night. This puts a bad image on the hotel. Hotel very good value for money for Venice and would recomend it.

friendly staff, small but adequate room. I'd have happily traded the bidet for another 18 inches in the shower, but otherwise very good value. Would have appreciated better directions from the airport on the website. Easy to get in to Venice and nice neighborhood.

In 25 years of travel I, much of it in 2 star or less accommodation, I have never had a room as small as at the Centrale. Basically it was a portion of a perviously existing room with the bathroom in what must have been a former closet.

Godd location next to a bus stop with very good public transport system (a bus every 10 minutes). The hotel was clean, breakfast was pretty average. One staff member helpful, the other not so. Would stay there again.

convenient location.good connection with train and buses.the decor is not so good but for the cost of room ,it is ok.good enough to stay for a short visit .but definitely not more than a day or two.the colours in the room are depressing.
