Centrepoint Hotel Bandar Seri Begawan (The)

Price paid for included airport transfer (from and to airport) and breakfast. Rooms were big enough and clean. Would have been better if they gave a me a queen sized bed instead of two singles as I was traveling alone. There wasn't an ironing board and iron in the room, but when requested, it was sent to my room within 5 minutes which was superb. Breakfast spread was quite good. Hotel staff generally friendly. Hotel is very close to a shopping mall (with cinema inside), only 3 minutes away on foot. Lots of restaurants around the hotel so no need to worry about getting cheap food. There is also a night market nearby, which is about 10 minutes from the hotel by foot. Security can be improved. People can easily access the hotel building regardless if a guest or not. Overall, stay at hotel was good. I would consider staying there again.

Good hotel to be staying in. Room I stayed in was spacious, well-appointed, and very clean. Reasonably good service except that calls to the operator took a long time to be answered (or not at all sometimes). Very central location, within walking distance of the shopping district.

Having lived in Brunei from 1977 to 1983 returning in 2007 was a wonderful experience for me and the Centrepoint Hotel well exceeded expectations. I would certainly stay there again.

very happ with service and situation

A good place to stop over to pre and post holiday in Borneo. Sightseeing cn all be done in a day.

Very good hotel, located next to big shopping mall. Staffs were very friendly and helphul. But reception staff was very bad mood. Room was very big and a lot of storage area. Nice and tidy and good (but old) decoration. Only I don't like is the carpet. There were many small rubbish on them. I recomend this hotel for good location and price and I will stay again if I will go to Brunei again.

Very good service..Staff very helpful and kind...The room was very comfortable and clean. Shopping was easy with all restaurants walking distance from the Hotel... Breakfast was a variety to choose from and extended till 10.30 am which was a big bonus. Would surely recommend this hotel to transit passengers... Good on you Centrepoint ..keep up the good work. This is a nice hotel, and all facilities are adequate. Staff are very polite, and generally efficient (as I usually find in this part of the world. The only downside is the location - it is some distance from the centre of the city, and so it's not easy to stroll around and get to the Mosque, the Kampong and museums, if you are on a flying visit, or in transit. This can be solved by some advance planning!
