Cervantes Hotel Paris

We found this to be a very nice and clean hotel. The friendly service and attention from the front desk was most appreciated. The room and bathroom were a good size and there is a free internet service available in the lobby. We liked the fact that the hotel was in close proximity of the metro, just a few stations away from Montmartre and Moulin Rouge and not to far if wanting to walk down to the main shopping precinct. When choosing this hotel we were swayed by the fact that it was the only hotel we could fiend in our price range with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We certainly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a good place to stay in Paris.

The breakfast was very good. Very nice service. Location next to the train station was a little noisy.

Extremely small single room but clean and silent except for occasional rumble from nearby railway. Very good breakfast.

Staff at the desk were very helpful and friendly. If using the trains the nearest metro station is called Rome , that will come in very handy if you have to rely on public transport. The room was a bit dated and in need of some renovation but very good value for the cheap price we paid. Central location though far from historiuc landmarks, just catch the metro, public transport is excellent. Close to a supermarket (if on a budget great place for food and drinks) cafes galore and St Lazare shops are fairly close by.

Next to a Metro line so the rooms shake. everything is very purple, but clean. Breakfast is nice. All a bit Fawlty Towers. Basssssiiiiiiillllllll

I was very pleased with this choice. Easy to find from St Lazare Railway station - close to Opera precinct and Monytmatre was in walking distance. Staff were polite, helpful and professional. Very pleased with room which looked across to Eiffel Tower. Cleaned thoroughly each day - but staff never replemished soap in bathroom. Breakfasts ( included in tarrif) were excellent value, was not pout off but sound of train movements coming from St Lazare Station and had balcony doors open most of the time. I also appreciated the free access to internet services provided Would definitely use this hotel again.

Situated between two metro stations makes it easy to get around. Rather noisy though as it seems our room was over the top of the train line. The receptionist preferred to ignore rather than help the guests.

Almost perfect location, located almost equi-distant from Opera/Montmarte/Etoile. Room (premium) facilities good and a good breakfast. Some rooms at back of house might be subject to noise problems from trains. I would certainly use hotel again.

A good hotel for the value with a helpful staff. Less than to blocks from the nearest Metro station.

This hotel was a wonderful choice. I booked it based on price alone, but have decided that I will return on my next visit to Paris. We booked two rooms. One larger and more deluxe, the other had better TV channels. Not that TV is a big deal, but when you have a bit of jet lag, being able to watch TV can be a good thing. Both rooms had LCD TVs with DVD players. The hotel doesn't have any DVDs, but there is a rental DVD kiosk at Place Clichy. The single room had a shower and was rather small, but had plenty of closet space. Really good breakfast buffet. Including meats and cheese, eggs and sausage. There is a computer with internet access, but no printing ability, off the lobby bar. This was a particularly convenient feature. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Be sure to try Bistro a l'Affiche at 48, rue de Moscou. On Sunday we went to Le Bistro de Montmartre at 7, avenue Rachel in the 18th. This was a terrific trip. I hope you enjoy yours!

Greatly located, very close to metro Rome station, we highly recommend this hotel

Very friendly staff. The bathroom is OK for our size but definitely will be too small for anyone bigger (over size 12). We really enjoyed our stay and will readily recommend to others.

Fine if you don't mind the noise of the trains

It was very near Rome station and should have been mentioned on the website. Frontdesk staff were pleasant and helpful. However, chambermaids and staff serving breakfast did not appear approachable. Dvd player was down throughout our 3 night stay.
