C'est Jeune Hotel Hualien

Nice and quite hotel. Provide great service. Thumbs Up!

It is a boutique hotel. The owner is a designer whom studied in France. Your breakfast will be serve on your bed every morning. cons: Location is far from train station and attraction area. But they provide a free shuttle from hotel to train station.

QUite a walk from town centre. No bed light, only ceiling light. English spoken but limited;eg ended up with wrong breakfast. Excellent coffee available all day

Had a nice stay at C'est Jeune Hotel, it's in a quiet location but a short distance to walk to the main shopping streets. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Room was adequately sized and kept clean and tidy. Beds was extremely soft & comfortable.

Great service - we happened to be staying here on my birthday and arrived back to our room to find that the hotel had left me a little birthday card and cake! The hotel itself is very clean and is centrally located for the sights of Hualien (such that there are!). It's also a short walk to the bus stop for getting to Taroko Gorge.

We book the hotel in August 09 after reading the positive feedbacks abt this hotel and am glad that we did! We have attested all these claims (transfer to/fm train station,acknowledge guests,good service and cleanliness) and found them all to be true ...we would recommend this to those who wants to stay in Hualien. We found that the staffs are also versatile....driver cum front desk receptionist. The large and cosy lobby with the coffee bar and artefacts coupled with the friendly staff makes you feel at home. Its the best budget hotel we have stayed in Taiwan. There is free bicycle rental...a good way to explore the surrounding environment. Abt breakfast...some say its cold..for my 2 days stay(timing of 7.30am & 8am)...its not very warm (suitable for me) but definitely not cold...if you eat it the moment its delivered. Menu...choice of american breakfast or eastern (dumpling/fried noodles/vegetable wrap ..changes every day). Choice of soy bean milk, orange juice, hot milk tea etc..

The staff was exceptionally helpful, offering the use of a bicycle, putting together a vegetarian boxed breakfast, making sightseeing suggestions, and helping with taxis.

We chose this hotel after reading up all the reviews written about it. All positive comments - about excellent service and friendly staff etc. Indeed these remarks are true. We would recommend this hotel to those going to Hualien.

Service was impeccable! We gave them a call at the Hualien station and they immediately rushed down in 10min to pick us up. Complimentary! Very organised...they provided their own map of where to go and eat within the vicinity, a menu to pick your breakfast set, a coaster set for souveneirs, free bicycles to cycle around, a lounge with free biscuits, coffee and tea. The only thing was the pillow and bed was slightly too soft for my liking.

The decor (lobby, rooms, outside windows) was superb - cheerful and artful, which made me immediately feel light and happy. Room was very clean, spic & span. Amenities (toiletries, stationery) were complete and the hotel's logo beautifully printed on these. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with arranging a tour to Taroko Gorge. Hotel has the bonus of being located on a very quiet street - but a short walk away is a road full of restaurants. More adventurous guests can get around using the hotel's free bikes! Great place! Highly recommended to all.

Hotel is not near train station but hotel provid free transfer from to and fro train station. Very courteous and efficient service. Counter staff are very knowlegable in giving directions and recommend tourist area for sight-seeing. Breakfast on the bed :).

I stayed in 4 different hotels in Taiwan and Cést Jeune was the best. The staff were friendly and the room was great. Breakfast was delivered to your room, laptops and bicycles was loaned to me for use and all was free of charge. Although the hotel location is far away from the train station, the hotel provided me with free pick up/drop off service to and fro. Other parts of the city was also easily accessible via the bicycles. Love it.

Absolutely great hotel. Service was awesome and very helpful for everything. The hotel has a unique style which is really modern and cool. Located in Hualien city, it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the Taroko Gorge sites, so being located at a hotel that's already in the gorge (although there seem to be few) is more convenient for sightseeing, but I found that being located in the city was better so you also have something to do in the afternoon (go to BOSS billiards if you play pool - they have fantastic tables!).

Nice and clean room but price a little high. Staff were friendly and helpful.
