Champerret Elysees Hotel Paris

The price is too expensive for such a small room and Breakfast is not included. In addition to that, we still had to pay the City Tax 2 Euro each day. The Metro (near hotel location) is not in the "central" area so we had to change the Metro each time we wanted to go to the tourist places.

Great hotel for a stopover break in Paris. Literally 1 minute from the metro station "Porte Champerret" on line 3. Easily accessible to all sights in Paris within 10 minutes. Hotel was very clean, service at reception was exteremely friendly. We used the hotel as a sleep-stop as we were in Paris for a weekend break of sightseeing. You couldn't ask for more with this hotel.

5 nights in mid September 2008. Booked slightly more expensive room having read cheapest were very small. Although still small, size was managable particularly given we were hardly there. Good things about room: Clean; comfortable; recently decorated; en-suite with sink, lavatory and shower; double bed; aircon; cleaned well daily; safe; big windows that open; decent TV; fresh towels daily; hot water; flowers in window boxes. Less positive about room: Small; no tea/coffee kit; no iron; no fridge; en-suite SMALL; shower a squeeze I am 6'2; no food in room. Observations: 3 minutes from cafes/bars; 2 minutes from metro; 40 mins walk from arcdetriumph; 20 mins metro to Eiffel tower; reception 24 hours; staff pleasant and helpful; breakfast 7 - 10am 15 euros; although we had a room next to busy street with quite a lot traffic the windows double glazed could not hear any noise when closed - would be difficult to sleep with windows open.

this hotel is located in great position with plenty of restraunts and other eating places in close proximity. the hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay here again.

hi,just back from lovely trip to paris. staff on reception extremely helpful,polite+friendly. eception also lovely.rooms were completely sufficient for stay. rooms well soundproofed from street, only wished we could switch on air condtioning but think it is accessibly soon. metro very close 50 metres with access to all paris. champs de elysees very close. would recommend. didnt eat here so cant comment. thank you

The hotel is about 50m away from about 10 restaurants/bistros, including some really posh ones! The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are a decent standard.

Hotel on the whole is very nice. It is right next to the Metro station for easy access all over Paris. Area is good - shops, restaurants, etc, and can walk to the Champs Elysee in about 10 mins. Hotel staff are quite noisy in the mornings though, and ignore the private sign on your door trying to get in! Rooms nice and tidy and clean. Bathroom and toilet room seperate - if you ate a mince pie too many at Christmas you would not fit into the toilet room, it was tiny - but adequate enough (was only a standard room). Breakfast not included in booking, would be nice if it had have been - also watch out for the extra 2Euro per night city tax that they charge you on departure. On the whole a nice stay in a nice hotel - would stay there again (as long as on a diet!)

No complaints to speak of. The room was very small even by european standards but this was expected since I got the budget double room and other reviews had commented on this already. One negative thing that I did not expect was the closet being too small to put standard hangars in without them rubbing the clothing against the wall/door and the entire hanging space available was roughly 30cm. The walls were also very very thin and you could hear everything going on in the rooms around you especially the toilet flushing in the adjacent room - it sounded like it was right in your room. The internet access was not free (this was ambiguous in the description). None of these are huge issues though. The metro was literally 100 meters away, the people in the reception were very nice and helpful (lots of them though - in four days we saw five different people manning the desk), all of them with workable English but more importantly a willingness to understand and be understood.

We were really happy with this hotel. Not only was the room really clean, but the staff were very friendly and willing to speak English. Very impressed.

Excellent little hotel very close to a Metro stop, easily accessible from the Airport or train, with lots of restaurants & shops around. We would certainly recommend staying in this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is nice and clean but a bit small. Good location - 5 mins away from metro station and 15 mins walk to Champ elysees. Would recommend and stay in this hotel again if I come back to Paris in future.

We really had a good time in this hotel.Staff were very friendly.Room size was a bit small but then who cares at 3 AM in the morning !! We landed there right in the middle of transport strike otherwise neaby metro and bus station would have been a great help. Only suggestion is that morning coffee & crosaint should be included in this price. R K Mazumdar. UK.

This hotel is only about 13 minutes walk from Arc de Triomphe and Champes Elysses - This was a great surprise. There were plenty of places for breakfast nearby. The bar was really cosy when we went for a drink after a busy day. The room was fine. Everything was very clean. We really got value for money. We will stay there again. Bernard and Joan C., Ireland
