Champlung Sari Hotel Bali

We were very happy with the accommodation and service. The hotel was clean, the two pools were well maintained and our rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely view across the forest and rice fields. Delightful stay.

HOTEL WAS IN EXCELLANT POSITION,NEAR TO ALL AMENITIES. STAFF VERY HELPFULL BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. ROOMS CLEAN BUT SHOWER TENDED TO WET ALL BATHROOM FLOOR (NO CURTAIN) WE WERE UPGRADED TO A NEWER ROOM.

Good location, right beside the Monkey forest and close to major shopping streets, not too far from town centre (Ubud Pasar). New rooms are nice, but many have no view at all, so look before you commit for more than 1 night. Breakfast was good. Limited TV channels available and HBO had only Indo language available, which would have been for the benefit of staff only as all the guests were we saw were european. Late check-out was not made available, which reduces the rating in my book.

The Hotel is in a great situation for shopping, restaurants and the Monkey Forest. Unfortunately there have been major renovation works going on in the hotel for some weeks. The 2nd pool is unavailable there is no bar, and the constant noise and view of the works in progress (from 8am to 6pm) caused huge disruption to what was supposed to be a restful holiday.Not recommended at this time at any price

The hotel is on the opposite side of Monkey Forest Park. The driver stopped us near the park soon after the hotel sign was seen. But that is not the hotel entrance. We had to pull our bags and walked along Monkey Forest Road which is a one-way road for about 100m and made a 90 degree turn to the right for another 100m to reach the hotel entrance. The hotel is well located and there are many boutique and souvenior shops and restaurants along Monkey Forest Road going towards Ubud 's main road where the main market is situated near the junction. We booked a deluxe room which was big and clean. We had a big balcony looking over a paddy field. It was also near to the hotel restaurant and swimming pool. The whole environment was calm and serene. Breakfast was included and was good. We like this hotel.

Central Location in Ubud

Room and location were OK. However, the staff seems too busy to do what we asked them to do. It was a high season in the summer vacation.

Nice hotel, clean and nice rooms with high authentic roof; air conditioning was not cooling enough though so temperature was just acceptable. Breakfast is OK but rather basic. The hotel is good situated, on walking distance from town center.

Especially good if you like your bathroom/restaurant crawling with monkeys (it's across the road from the Monkey Forest Sanctuary). Certainly provided a contrast to the blandness of our Kuta hotel. An enjoyable environment with lovely gardens and smiling staff. Well located for shopping and dining. Nice Spa. Would go back.

I've been in this hotel with my boyfriend unfortunately for just 1 night but the room was in real balinese style, very good, wide, clean and so romantic.... Excellent and very original bathroom. Very nice breakfast in the garden! You must go!!

Everything is great. Room and location are fantastic close to restaurants and shops. Our room was big with a big glass window from top to the bottom so we can see the beautiful view of the forest and the pool and further more watching monkies wondering around. We also had a nice balcony so we can sit around enjoying the mountain weather. Staffs were friendly. Price was very good. Definately we will stay here again.
