"Basic hotel but good sized rooms and clean. Position is great, away from the heat and noise of the city and near the beach with good restaurants, markets and golf course. Orchard Road is only 25 mins by taxi. 10 mins to Changi airport." - eric guthry

"First room had very loud fan noise even when airconditioner was off - but hotel was happy for us to change rooms. Internet is VERY expensive S5 for 15 minutes - $26 for 24 hours - strongly suggest you take your 3G modem - cost of a Starhub connection only around $3 per day. You can buy sim cards at the 7/11 200 meters from the hotel, which connect simply - just type in the plan you want. Apart from that the hotel is good - close to airport, good for transits, far from town, good environment, fine roof top swimming pool - good for watching the planes come in.
