"it was great value and in a great location if you want to get away from it all and only a short drive to Stratford if you have a car. we couldn't get a table for dinner in the evening because it was fully booked, but we found a pub to eat at in the next village which was really nice, nice food and better beer than the hotel." - kenneth hargreaves

Hotel description:    Just 5 minutes drive from Junction 15 off the M40 situated in the peaceful village of Charlecote,the Charlecote Pheasant hotel is just 4 miles from Stratford upon Avon and Warwick with its superb Castle. This rural retreat, with fantastic motorway access, has been attractively converted from farm bulidings and nestles along side Charlecote Manor and Charlecote Park with its deer roaming beside the meandering river Avon.

The Hotel boasts an excellent restaurant and bar as well as its own outdoor pool (in season). Within the grounds there is also a tennis court and children's play area. The excellent meeting facilities and central location also make this an ideal venue for a meeting or re-union.

Getting there: Exit M40 at Junction 15 and take the A429 signposted to Cirencester/Stow on the Wold. Drive past the village of Barford and in 2 miles, take a right turn signposted Charlecote. The hotel is opposite the church in the village
