Good quality motel on the edge of Greymouth - rooms are very good size with decent bathroom and cooking facilities. Short walk connects to the beach which is spectacular. You'll need the car to get into Greymouth. In spite of being just off the main road, surprisingly quiet and if you're looking for somewhere to stay for a night en route down the west then this has all you need.
Management were very helpful. Location, close to a beach, was tops, and even though close to main road our unit was very quiet.

Was a good stopover after a long drive. Didn't get a chance to use the facilities provided but they looked good.
This hotel has excellent facilities but is located quite a distance from Greymouth itself. The staff were great and very helpful.
Great stay all round, friendly staff and huge two bedroom unit with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not close to centre of town but easy access onto beach .Helpful staff.
An older style motel accomodation, which worked well for us as it it provided a separate room for the kids. It was a little cold, as it relied on heating from a couple of oil column heaters. A little out of the main part of town, but near a nice part of the coast and the staff were very helpful.
Nice location, pleasant room with very good spa bath
It was great to have full kitchen facilities even if this meant that the kitchen area was a little cramped. Staff very friendly and offered advice on local points of interest.

Cheap and cheerful.
We thought the motel was spacious and pleasant but it did smell musty and it had two window stays broken, which isn't good for security. Also it is 4-star so we feel it should have had a wardrobe in the separate bedroom and a heated towel rail.

Over 8km's from town centre, however a good shuttle service is available when wanted we were not aware of this until arrival at the motel by taxi. The owner/manager provided transport to enable us to enjoy a good hotel meal, and provided transport for us to the rail station next day. We enjoyed our stay.
