"We absolutely loved this hotel. Only 5 minutes by tram to the city centre (and you can pick up an all day tram pass from reception). The hotel is gorgeous, complete with bar/restaurant, reading room and billiards table. The rooms were very clean, service was exceptional and the staff are fantastic! Very helpful, very friendly. Charsfield is a grand Victorian building, classified by the National Trust. After being restored to its former glory, it opened late in 2000 as Hotel Charsfield, boasting 41 hotel rooms, 2 conferences rooms, and lavish public areas such as the Sitting Room, Snooker Room, and Dining Room and bar
We are a unique boutique hotel that has been the WINNER of the 2001 Australian Achiever Award for Excellence in Customer Service, and rated a "highly reccommended" in 2002 .
