"What is described- ie fruit plattter, meals at their restaurant- was a joke! We decided to pay more since it was our anniversary on what sounded like a real treat- we would have been better to have payed less and gone out for a meal some where else- Also the food at their restaurant was definatly NOT value for money- way over priced- small portions to say the least!! When ordering Ravioli at $21 I expect to get more than 4 pieces!!! However the room was lovely and peaceful and the location was beautiful. The hotel is located between Mona Vale and Hagley Park and just a short stroll through the park to the city centre. A free shuttle is provided to city centre, Railway Station and the nearby shopping centre.

Chateau on the Park features two restaurants offering contemporary fine dining and al fresco dining experiences and the Den Bar provides a cosy environment to unwind. The 190 guest rooms are beautifully appointed and have views of the gardens. The hotel also offers year round heated swimming, putting green, bike hire as well as fitness facilities available.
