Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok

A wonderful hotel with very friendly, helpful staff, all speaking excellent english. Whilst this hotel is away from the main business area of Bangkok, it is only a short boat ride to Saphan Taksin, one of the stops on the Skyrail. They offered an upgrade for a small fee, which was great. This was a very good hotel which offered a good rate. Food was available at hotel prices, slightly inflated but equivalent to home but of a high standard.

Lovely luxury hotel overlooking the river. All facilities are excellent, although it reuires a cab/walk to reach most shopping/tourist spots.

Hotel is in a FANTASTIC position..so easy to get around Bangkok and have the cool river breeze when you partake in the amazing buffett breakfast or all tou can eat menu at lunch time..the private ferry takes 5minutes to drop you of at the transit system.excellent...when we arrived they asked us would we like to be upgrade to a river view for 11 US dollars per day..well worth the money..We will definitely use the hotel again

Nice view from the balconys to the river. Easy to travel with the hotels shuttleboat to the nearest BTS station.

Spent 7 very relaxing days here. River view 2br apartment and pool were fabulous. No complimentary wireless and daily charge of around $10AU was pricey. Staff were not quite up to par with 5star hotels we have stayed in previously in Bangkok but wouldnt go as far as to say we wouldnt stay at the Chatrium Suites again if we required a service apartment as the pool and location were quite spectacular.

Fabulous hotel- wonderful staff who were always ready to help.Very efficient in organising tours. The river view from the bedroom and balcony are simply breathtaking. Great shuttle service . Fantastic fittness centre with sauna.The most amazing room service(they did the room everytime we stepped out!)-and the most incredible buffet breakfast we ever had! Will definitely stay here anytime we're in Bangkok in the future!

The hotel has an excellent position close to all facilities both water and rail. As we stayed in a suite overlooking the river there was never a dulll moment and something to look at the whole duration of our stay.The only downfall was the staff were not very informative as to what and where to go for tours and sightseeing.On a whole we enjoyed our stay at The Chatrium Suites and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying there. *****

The breakfast quality and selection, room, the furnishing, fittings and toiletries provided were all great! The reception and concierge staff may not be very experienced yet but their good attitude and effort were appreciated. The only problem we had staying at Chatrium was that very few taxi and tuktuk drivers were familiar with the name and location despite us showing them the hotel card and map. Also, many of those who did know Chatrium refused to go by meter because they felt it was far away. We must admit that finding our way back everyday was quite stressful unless we were near to a BTS station and early enough to catch the shuttle boat. This inconvenience is the only reason we may not return to Chatrium but we know that this is not their fault and not something they can easily solve.

An excellent hotel but they charge for the internet so I shall not stay here agin. THB 856 for 2 days of wifi is a total rip-off plus it is charged per computer so I would have had to pay double to use my iphone.

Very nice location near the river the hotel facilitates a free boat transfer to the near peer. The rooms are excellent with amassing views to the river or city, the buffet breakfast is one of the best I ever had, and the service is also good. If you are travelling to Bangkok I recommended this hotel.

I decided to stay a few days at the Chatrium Suites during my recent holidays in Bangkok based on the excellent reviews that new hotel received on [competitor website]. I got a special rate for 4 nights with [your website]and was completely satisfied with everything. This was one of the best hotel deals that I had in a long time. I was not expecting breakfast to be included in the price but I was told it was. My check-in took less than a minute and I was escorted to my suite on the 27th floor. I had a wonderful view on the river. WiFi internet access was available at a cost of 640 B (US$ 20) per day which was relatively expensive; so I didn't use. The other hotel facilities are excellent and are fairly described on the hotel's website. Generally speaking, I had a 6 star experience.

I have stayed in countless Asian hotels over the last 20 years and this hotel must count as one of the best value experiences that I have ever had. The rooms are spacious with lovely river views. Beds are comfortable, the fixtures and fittings in the room are all high quality. The staff are superb and cannot do enough for you. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone - I really could not fault any of it and the price was less than $100 per night for a suite.
