Chatsworth Lions Hotel Eastbourne

The room was small and cluttered and had little space for two suitcases. There was no car parking although a discount arrangement was available for street parking. In peak season it is doubtful that street spaces could be found within a reasonable distance of the hotel. The room was hot with no cooling facility other than open windows which were of limited value given that the room was at the rear of the hotel, not the seafront side.

VG value for money. The location on the sea front is excellent and the variety of food for breakfast was first class. Staff could not be more attentive.

Staff friendly and breakfast good. Room had obviously just been decorated and the smell of fresh paint was overwhelming. Double bed was very small and uncomfortable.

Location on the seafront good and within very easy access to the shops, bars and restaurants and reasonable walking distance to the railway station. Minor refurb of bedrooms and public areas would be a bonus but overall very satisfactory standard and very good english breakfast served.

Very friendly staff. Hotel undergoing an upgrade but very good value right on the seafront.

Rooms was very small, and light in bathroom did not work, it was a great location and the hotel let us store our bags after checkout due to late train home.
