Chiang Mai Plaza Hotel

A very grand hotel in a good location close to the night market. Breakfast was good and the food in the restaurant was excellent and well priced. Great value for money.

Good value hotel in good location

We recently spent 5 days at the Chiang Mai Plaze Hotel and found it very much to our liking. Walking distance to many of the things we wanted to do. The Tour Desk girls were very good. Service excellent.

Gee! Talk about value for money, Great Location, Great Price, Great Breakfast, Great Service. And the property is really Nice as well. Sorry, We couldn't find the down side of staying here.

Very nice hotel staff could not do enough for you and helped with getting you to were your going security first rate if hiring a bike safe in car park and very close to every think will be back

Nice large rooms and good value for money. I was allowed an early check in and late check out, which was very good. The TV only carried 2 English news channel and a very ' grainy' HBO. Great location i.e., with regard to the night market.

Wonderful service,surroundings, location and buffet breakfast that was included in the price. Great value as it was Sept/Oct and the off peak rainy season but hardly any rain. Only negative was that the bed was rock hard and had to put blankets (given by staff) and the duvet underneath to make it a little more comfortable but still hard.

Nice hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. In great location. Very close to night markets, 2 minute walk, shop up through the markets, eat at one of the great restaurants there and catch a tuk tuk back to the hotel.. only 20 baht and fun. (19-06-2009)

I liked the central location of this hotel with ease to walk easily to lots of places, yet out of main traffic/noise areas. Breakfast buffet good selection. Rooms have a slightly worn charm, yet spacious and comfortable. Will stay at this location again

Good location, no safe in the room

Warmly recommend this hotel. Great location, large rooms, and very good value! This is a big hotel with all the facilities to expect. Nice outdoors swimming pool area with sundeck chairs. Unhetaed pool.

Very impressed with the beautiful foyer areas of the hotel ,staff friendly never waited long for anything although didn't get to use pool looked great from room window,one of the largest I've seen in a thai hotel,plenty of parking with good security, quiet and yet easy walk to night market area which has some of the best eating Ive had in Asia.The only small complaints are that the windows of the room were in need of a good clean and the sound proofing between rooms is not great.Overall a good hotel and will go back next time.

I think the Chiang Mai Plaza Hotel is one of the best hotels in which I have ever stayed - anywhere in the world. The facilities, service, location, cleanliness are all first rate ... for a rate which is a fraction of the cost of hotels in many other places around the world.
