Our beautiful and spacious house is situated on the east bank of the Ping River, within ten minutes's drive from the center of Chiang Mai. Our guest house is the perfect getaway for a quiet retreat, seclusion, vacation, or a honeymoon. The house is a two-story with four bedrooms plus common lounges with seating and TV, three large terrace decks, and a lovely garden overlooking the river .

Getting there:Ask to go to the consulate of India on Fah Ham Samakke Rd (the road that runs along the ping river). Right next to the consulate is a small street Lanka Soi 1, we are at the end of the street on the river. Taxi fare from airport about 200 Baht.

Chiang Mai River House is a home away from home. It is a very beautifully appointed house, with a large verandah and balcony, on the river, with a pretty garden. The owner is extremely helpful and goes out of her way to help. Great breakfast as well. We will definitely come back here, if traveling to Chiang Mai.

We haven't been able to go the hotel was full, but she came to pick us up at the bus station brought us at her hotel and made us a breakfast. She tried to call us on our French mobile but couldn't get in touch with us. She made 2 different reservations so we have a place to stay when we arrived. She is very nice, speaks well French (she worked in Nice) and English. If you like the calm it is a good place to stay.

Thanks to Maurcie and Bow I had a wonderfull stay in Chiang Mai. Very nice hotel and they really take care of the clients. I felt very much at home. For visiting town privately ask for Tony tuk tuk he toke care of me for 3 out of the 7 days and it only cost 600Bahts each day.
the hospitality was fantastic, they are lovely helpful people with a lot to offer. its is a little out of the centre, which was just what we were looking for
Moondanceriver was one of my best memory of my stay in the north of Thailand. The owners of this Guest house and the people who work there are formidable, incredibly nice and very available. The house and the rooms are very beautiful and very pleasant. I advise to any person going to CHIANG MAY, to reserve a room in this house.
