Getting there:From airport El Prat de Llobregat to the apartments you have the following options: By taxi it takes aprox. 30 minutes to the apartments. By airportbus it takes aprox. 45 minutes. Take the bus A1 (Aerobus) at the airport and get off at Plaça Catalunya. Once there take the street called Fontanella, which leads automatically to Plaza Urquinaona; cross the square and on the opposite side on the corner with Ronda Sant Pere you will find the chic&basic Urquinaona apartments, Ronda Sant Pere 22. By train L10 it takes aprox 45 minutes. Get off at Estació de França and from Estació de França by taxi. From Girona Airport it takes aprox. 75/90 minutes by Ryanair Airport bus until Barcelona Estacion del Norte and from there by taxi. Metro stations Plaza Urquinaona and Plaza Cataluña are in walking distance.
Check-in Procedure:Very important: There is no reception in the building, so please inform us about your arrival time beforehand. tel +34 607 57 57 34. Do not forget to call us once you arrive to the airport in order to advise you are on your way. In case you arrive after 21:00 we inform you beforehand where to get the keys. So please inform us about your arrival time in advance.
Car parking:There are public parkings at Plaza Urquinaona and Plaza Cataluña for aprox 20-25 Euro per day.
Child Policy:Children between 0-2 years are free of charge. Children 03-12 years have an additional charge of EUR 7,00 + 7% tax daily. Cribs available free of charge subject to availability.

We had a fantastic weekend break in Barcelona. We had arranged to pick up our hotel keys at another branch (BORN)which is the most beautiful hotel/apartments I have ever seen. Staff were fantastic. The décor of apartment block is very retro chic, (watch out for the lift). The apartment was clean and spacious,2 bathrooms, all the mod-cons, the TV reception wasn’t the best. The view was FANTASTIC, we could see across the city and the hills to other monuments. We were right by the Main Square and shops. Also the metro station is so convenient, we could go ANYWHERE! The only downfall was that the Hot water was not working properly but we called them and they sent an engineer. That still didn’t work and so they offered us the choice of having another apartment in the building or just keeping both apartments if we didn’t want to move. The whole experience was of total freedom. If you are on a budget a definite must. I will use them again definitely.
Old style lift, no hair dryer in such cold days, asked for dry, sent me a broken one, smoke came out when i try to use it, scary...
