Chifley On South Terrace Hotel Adelaide

Good, met our needs however would hate to have had room near the very noisy lift. Room adequate size and good location in the city

Stayed 2 nights first was ordinary due to young revellers partying all night in room next door and in front of room on shared balcony woke up feeling hungover minus the alcohol. Next night much better after they had moved on. Otherwise will try the hotel again due to exceptionally helpful and friendly staff and great central location. Bed was very comfy also appreciated the paper delivered to your door every morning. Tram stop to Rundle Mall only 5 minute walk which was great for shopping.

I had a room for two nights at $110 a night. The hotel itself is quite nice, free parking, free paper and a decent pool out back. The room itself was large and had a sofa and two armchairs. My only issue with the rooms is that you could hear the outside airconditioning units. It wasn't bad and I did go to sleep but it is the only fault I can find. I would request a room at the back of the hotel next time as it may be quieter. As it was, for the price it is great value in a clean and well kept hotel.

The reception desk/ housekeeping were very helpful with replacing the remote control for the television set. The batteries must have been flat. Room service was prompt on a Sunday evening. I was told the meal would arrive in 40 mins - it arrived in 20mins !!

Very comfortable. Large room overlooking park. Free parking. Easy walk to restaurants. Would stay here again.

A very enjoyable stay with friendly, helpful staff. Only one problem -a very noisy elevator. Our rooms were close to the one and only elevator and as this was in use throughout the night, sleep was interupted on each arrival at our floor.

Found the reception staff very helpfull & friendly,nothing was too hard for them to help us with any information we needed. The lift & the shower door in our room needs a service A.S.A.P. Great hotel to be at , good rate & easy access to the free tram to the city , will stay there again .

Excellent position, bed was comfortable, very little noise, traffic did not affect sleep. Car park had plenty of room and was free. Pity there is not free Wifi as in many USA hotels. Would certainly stay there again.

well located, ideal spot to wind down after busy week or two - close to everything without the hustle and bustle of city accommodation will definately stay again

Used hotel for in transit stop and down time after a busy week, stay enjoyable however unfortunately restaurant was closed because of function found location enjoyable and appreciated needing to take the walk down town would use again

Found the room very nice and the bed very comfortable. It is on the outskirts of the city centre so you need to get a bus tram or taxi to the restaurants but that proved okay. Lovely pool, dining and foyer area and would stay there again when in Adelaide

Parking included. Clean rooms. easy access. Places to eat close by.

lovely apartment with plenty of room to move.facilities were excellent,except for temperamental water pressure in the shower.apart from that,the 3 nights we spent there were fantastic.a little far away from the centre of the city ,but not a problem for people who like to walk.i would certainly recommend this hotel in this beautiful city.

Fabulous staff, but Foxtel movie channels were not available the 5 days we were there, no-one seemed able to fix the problem. Room was a tad noisey, but had a balcony which was great.

Great place to stay. Excellent value especially for Xmas and New Year period. Rooms are getting tired, however renovations are underway. Staff are very helpful. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were closed during the Xmas period which was disappointing, however customers could still use the next door hotel facilities. Very good location to city centre and elsewhere and also very quiet place to stay. Great value. Will definately stay there again!

Good hotel with adequate parking if you have a car. Southern edge of CBD so a bit of a walk to the main North Terrace area. Good overall for our purposes though.

we spent 3 nights and every contact with Hotel staff was very polite and informtive we walked every where Adelaide is very compact and has all the big citys have it wqas a great weekend

Has all the basic amenities for the budget conscious. It could do with a new look. bathrooms need an extra scrub !

We enjoyed this accommodation. It was well situated, reasonably priced and very clean.
