A pleasant stay overall, definitely best in the area. Would go again. The interior is better than you'd think than going by the picture of the outside. Food is excellent. Service was only average - could be more proactively helpful and also better in dealing with those who don't speaking English very well.
Excellent value would stay there again
Standard Room with 2 Single beds.
Standard Room with Double bed.
Unbearably HOT in summer - no aircon!
remote control for tv not working niether was telephone in room.
We had a meal in the Restaurant and the food was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were quite small but had everything in that you could want and were very clean.
In need of renovation
excellent for a one night stay prior to flight from Luton Airport
The hotel was operating under receivership, and there were real problems that a very pleasant staff were having to work under. The hotel needs refurbishment, and a new owner to give the place a fture. Staff -exellent Hotel itself -poor
Reasonably good but not exciting hotel, everything was okay.
bathroom area could have been a little cleaner but a great nights sleep was had. highly recommended.
Room, rate, parking all ok BUT ... No AirCon - room very, very, very hot. Cannot recommend under any circumstances if temperatures are on the high side (75F or higher)
The hotel is quite shabby and could do with a major revamp. The rooms, although clean are in need of redecoration and the bathroom looked old and dirty.
The Chiltern Hotel Luton is not prepared to deal with scorching temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius - there is no air conditioning! If you are in a room at the front of the building, which is where the sun shines for most of the afternoon and all evening, you hope that the windows will open wide. In our case, they didn't. But do not let this put you off. There was a fan in the room, and that made the heat bearable. Other than that, the hotel was great: the staff were friendly, the room was clean and quite cozy, breakfast was delicious!
Stayed one night only to catch early morning flight. Crisp clean linen, nothing to complain about. The barthrooms were clean.
Excellent hotel at a very reasonable price!
Room very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Good choice at breakfast, although they were a little slow at checking and replenishing. Good experience overall, would definitely use this hotel again.
Hotel price reasonable but hotel ready for a refurb!
I was very pleased with everything. I could not find a fault.
Having paid a relatively low price for the room, I was surprised at how good my evening meal was. Although it was only a fillet steak, it was the best one I have had in a long time!
