Chisun Hotel Shin Osaka

Suitable for those looking for a room near the main JR shinkansen train station of Osaka. Otherwise, its location is rather off the grid with few amenities around. However room was reasonably clean and well-maintained for the price paid.

Good hotel for single traveller on a budget, little bit off from umeda and namba but was within the same line.

it is very close to the JR Shin Osaka station, although the space is limited, but very clean and tidy.

This hotel is near Shin Osaka, a few minutes out of the main areas of Osaka itself. It's about 5 minutes walk from the station, so it's more of a transit hotel than for people who want to see Osaka.

Hi location is very good 15min walk to SHINOSAKA ST you have BUS from ITAMIn only 490 yen only. but is cold in the room no Heater provided. TV no ENGLISH chanel for the past SIX days I was not able to know what happen, especially FINANCIAL NEWS. would like to request a sach of coffee or tea, they only give 2 small Jap tea. anyway I enjoyed the LOCATION very much.

The room was a little small But that is to be expected. Over all I loved my stay.

Air conditioning was not working. Got a small room at the corner of the floor. Too narrow to fit 2 person with 2 medium luggage on the floor.

Very small room similar to other Japanese business traveller hotels. Breakfast was good and staff attentive and appeared to understand some English. Close to Shin Osaka Hotel but not easy to find initially. Not recommended for extended stay but priced according to facilities.

Very convenient for station - 45 mins to Kansai Airport; good food and very helpful service

The japanese breakfast buffet was extremely good! The service was very friendly.

The steps to Shin-Osaka station will burn your legs. You can do your own laundry, which keeps costs down. Staff are very helpfull. Rooms are tiny. Not suitable for spending long hours in or you'll go mad.

A lot of noise from neighbouring rooms and very small bathroom. Handy to Shin Osaka station. Very good value breakfast.

The service was outstanding. The reception staff were always friendly and helpful, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job of preparing my room each day. My only problem with the facilities was that the walls and doors were a little thin, meaning that ordinary sounds (doors closing, toilets flushing) from adjoining rooms, and also from the corridor, could be heard in my room. But while I could hear conversations conducted in the corridor, I couldn't hear conversations or television sounds from other rooms, which was a blessing. Apart from that, I was happy with the hotel.

Excellent position only a short walk from the Shin Osaka station. Great for using the JR and subway system. As expected rooms are small and the bathroom tiny. A disappointment was the lack of a fridge. The restaurant only catered for japanese speaking guests. Menu in Japanese characters and no pictures. Lots of eating places at the station compensated for this. The reception personnel were helpful and after booking out in the morning we were able to stow our luggage for our late night flight.

Great hotel to stay at! Great price and great location when visiting Osaka. Clean. Not a fancy hotel, but above average facilities. 4 out of 5 stars!! May be a little confusing to find at first, but it is well worth it.
