Chopin Hotel Krakow

Good hotel for a fair price. We only needed a bed. It is just a 15 minute walk to the fabulous city center. Krakow has plenty of good restaurants and we enjoyed several of them.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Krakow. The Chopin is a little way out of the Old Town, approx 1 mile which we walked every time. The streets outside the Old Town are not the cleanest and best maintained however we felt safe.

Me and my husband stayed at the Chopin for a long weekend with our friends and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. We found all staff very pleasant and efficient. Had dinner in the restaurant one evening which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Our thanks to Christopher for his pleasant manner and excellent service.

A great hotel 10 minutes walk away from the train station and 15 minutes from the Old Square. The room was nice and warm and the bathroom was very clean. I really enjoyed the breakfast - thay served anything you could think off. Simply delicious!!!

The room is a little bit small for a double room, but o.k. All the staff in the hotel is very helpful and friendlily ! breakfast selection not very largely, but appropriate for 3 star Hotel ! Close to city center - 10 minutes by feet or 2 tram stopps until old town (market).

Never look Hotel-Staff so friendly and helpfull like in Chopin Hotel !

This hotel was really good value for money. The rooms are quite small but they're very clean and contain all you need. It's about 10 minutes walk to the main square and taxis are cheap if you don't fancy the walk. Get down to breakfast early as it gets very busy towards the end of the session.

hotel was good but heating was,nt up to scratch in november

The hotel is currently sandwiched between upgrade to the outer ring road and roundabout to the rear of the hotel, and a huge building site to the front, leaving it somewhat isolated. There are no restaurants in the vicinity.

Not near the centre (3 busstops away) but the hotel itself was good. The cooking in particular was excellent

A lot of construction road works around the hotel presently.

The location is not quite a strategic as the promotional literature suggests, but it is near a tram stop where several different routes pass. So it is not difficult to get to the key tourist locations.

Lovely hotel and great breakfast!! Staff were very helpful. Got quite noisy at night thoug with kids running around the corridors. Overall it was a good stay though.

Front desk staff is unhelpful as their knowledge of the local transport system and tourist attractions is minimal. Obtaining informaiton is like drawing blood from stone. One even gave bad directions for a walk into the town centre. Service staff does not speak English and ignores "Do not disturb" signs. It is also very noisy not because of traffic but because all room doors can only be closed by slamming. Food served in the restaurant is very good though. There is also a very nice restaurant with ambience called Margit across the road from the hotel which serves excellent Polish food.

Very nice hotel, with good facilities and excellent rooms, really a hotel to come back to.
