Leaving the Madeira International Airport in direction to Funchal, take Exit nº 13 signposted for “Jardim Botanico” (Botanical gardens) and Camacha.
Turn left. This will direct you to Funchal. After having gone under a viaduct, continue straight ahead (downhill) for approximately 2 km when you will reach a turn-off on your right with an indication to the Botanical Gardens and Choupana Hills. Take this turn-off and continue to the Botanical Gardens which, when you get there, will be on your left. Directly after the Botanical Gardens turn left and continue ascending until you reach the Restaurante do Miranda on your right, where you should also turn right. Continue ascending until you find a turn-off to your left (signpost “Choupana Hills”), take it and in another 250 meters you will find the Choupana Hills Resort & Spa! |
