Being very much a country town, this 3 star at best hotel is probably almost as good as you will get. Unless very fit you need a taxi ride TWD150 from the Rail station. However it is close to fun markets and side streets with good food stalls. Beakfast is not fancy but good enough. Like most taiwan hotels, you can smell cigarette smoke, however I have been in far worse in the country. Rooms are made up late about 4pm so cant check in early. In this town I would stay again.
