Ciampino Hotel Rome

The hotel was okay. The bathrooms are terrible. Water flows from the bathroom into your bedroom. We booked a double bed but were given four twin beds. Not helpful!!! Hotel is located very close to Ciampino airport. It is about 1km from Ciampino station on the train from Termini. Cost for train is only 1.5Euros and the train takes 10mins to get from Termini to Ciampino station.

While the hotel was clean and the rooms of a good size. The hotel was hard to find and fairly noisy. If you need to stay close to Ciampino airport it may be handy, but clearer instructions are needed to find the hotel as it is situated in a deadend street with little signage.

The hotel was good and clean. The staffs were really good and they helped us lot in reaching places. The only problem is the location. If you are travelling by car then it's not a problem. If you choose public transport you need to walk 1 km from the train station by carrying your luggage. Rest of the service are good and we suggest to stay in this hotel if you have your own transport.

Clean spacious rooms. Room had a/c but set at 30 degrees. Beds were comfortable, bathroom excellent, pool great. Excellent continental breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel in a back street about 800metres from station but only two stops from Rome. Wifi advertised but not available during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

In general it is a nice Hotel, if there were not the runway of the airport and the railroad. Everything else was ok.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Overlooking the runway but didn't really notice the noise unless we opened our balcony door. Can get a bus at the airport to the train station. About 3 stops and from there a 10min walk. Phone hotel from call box in airport and they give you good directions. It is about the 2nd last side street on left before you leave the town and overlooking the airport. We got taxi in morning as had to leave very early. Cost 25 euros and he was already waiting for us at 5am. We noticed some buses had already started operating at that time. Would definately return. Great value for money.

The hotel is super clean and the staff are so helpful and efficient friendly nothing too much trouble. Pool is just perfect, only negative is that hotel is practically on the runway of ciampino airport. planes start 6am and run through till midnight...its not the place to go if you want a quiet night !!

We stayed just one night before flying out so the location right by the airport was convenient. Modest breakfast but staff were helpful.

Overall a nice hotel but location is a bit too far...

It is good, that the breakfast is already from 6:45 and not later. To the airport, you can walk to the Ciampino railway station about 15 min. and than take a bus for 1.20Euro to the Ciampino airport. The bus company´s name is Schiaffini.

Location is not so good because to go to Ciampino Airport by car you are obliged to drive on the Appia road in the contrary sense respect to the Airport, so it takes a lot of time especially during peak times. I judge this hotel a two star hotel, because it is very simple, television in the room didn't work so much and there was a noisy and smell electric radiator instea of a normal heating. The hotel is very close to the rail line, so it can be very noisy. Breakfast was ok, capuccino is good, but there is no buffet.

The hotel wasn't easy to find, contrary to what I read in other comments. The staff was very serviceminded and the stay was good value for the money

The hotel is clean and staff friendly, breakfast not wonderful but sufficient. However, to get from the airport to the hotel will cost you a fortune, as taxi drivers RIP you off.

great location for rome and airport,friendly staff,lovely family run restaurant nearby,taxi from/to airport very exspensive better to use public transport,fraction of cost,i love planes and trains so didn't mind the noise as hotel is close to both,would definetly stay there again.

The service was great! The price was very cheap for the Rome area. Nice pool. Airport is directly across the hotel so you hear plane noise but not excessive. The directions on the website of how to get to the hotel from the train station don't make sense. It is about a 10 minute walk. We had the basic rooms w/3 beds, not the best quality beds. We have stayed there twice. I would not recommed this hotel for a romatic get away but definitely for a family that is trying to travel on a budget.

good value for money basic hotel. Nice pool area. Rooms clean. Could do with a bit of paint on the balcony. No bar during the day.

Can't really complain about this Hotel too much as we arrived late and left early for flight connection - perfect for this - wouldn't like to stay much longer than 1 night as rooms need updating, but location fine for airport and local facilities / restaurants, etc.

Not an easy hotel to find and noise can be a problem after 7am due to its location to the local airport. Noise between rooms and TVs that do not work can also annoy. 20 minutes from the centre of Rome by train was a big plus.

Located right next to airport and railway tracks. Was not able to sleep much because of the taking of jets every 15 minutes and trains going all. Hotel rooms could use some mayor repairs much needed. Staff was friendly en the other areas of hotel were fine. Looks somewhat run down on the outside. Swimming pool somewhat outdated and needing some repairs also. The water in the pool was clean though. First time stay in the hotel there was no phone in the room. Second stay in another room did have a phone. Even though the price was low would not stay there again for the noise .

I liked very much staying in Ciampino Hotel Rome, i will rewind surely
