Circa 39 Hotel Miami Beach

Wonderful, helpful staff, clean, bright room with flatscreen TV, shade by the pool for proper newspaper reading, decent food on site and a great little mom and pop sandwich etc. shop right next door.

I was only here one night. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However, I can't note anything extraordinary. The location is decent, unless you want to be closer to Lincoln Road and the night life of South Beach.

last minute I was in need of a hotel for a conference, this hotel was not on the list but met the criteria. I loved it. Great intimate restaurant and veranda,pool and beach ,and for to go items; a local deli next door.Staff were super friendly.

My brother and I decided to visit Miami Beach while he was visiting the USA from Buenos Aires (I live in upstate NY) and found[...] a good package including hotel and air fare for 5 days. The hotel was a pleasant surprise, with friendly staff that did their best to help travelers with their needs and accommodate their requests. It is a family oriented hotel, very clean, and a block to the beach...which was a huge plus for us since we spent most of the time there. The location is excellent, within 2 miles from the excitement of South Beach but far enough from its noise. The concierges were very friendly and helpful, particularly Douglas, and we spent great times watching the Copa America soccer matches at the bar chatting with Jorge, the bartender, who is a huge fan of Argentina's soccer players and extremely friendly. We had dinner a couple of times there and their salmon is superb.The hotel provides beach towels and free chairs at the beach.We would definitely go back.

This is a nice art deco hotel. Internet did not work in the room but WiFi worked in the lobby. Rooms were not fancy but quiet and clean!

Excellent for the price. The room was simple and just perfect for my 8 hour stay. Close to the beach and offers complimentary breakfast and beach chair. I was suppose to have an internet cable in the room, but I didn't. The front office offered to give me one, but I did not need it at the time. Wireless available in lobby and pool side.

I had a most enjoyable stay at Circa 39. Along Collins Avenue and opposite the Marriot Courtyard, it proved to be good value for money. I had a great room with a king-size bed overlooking Collins Avenue. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and Cable TV was provided. Although the bathtub was a little worn, the bathroom was spotless. The Aveda toiletries was a nice touch. The internet connection via cable was reasonably fast. Although much has been said about the 9.95 charge for the use of the amenities, I just factored that into the total cost of the stay and it still remained reasonable. All in all a great stay and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends.

negative they charge a $10 a day hotel charge they say is for stuff like a towel by the pool or the continental breakfast regardless if you use the service or not.

ABSOLUTELY SUPERB; A FUN PLACE, A COSY PLACE. Just one note of caution to future stayers as there are standard charges which are not told to you until you check in - these are not the local US taxes which apply at all Hotels, these are charges for Breakfast, Beach Chairs and Wireless Internet availability

This is a good hotel! We appreciated the free internet service, but the music by the pool was far too loud. Very helpful people in the reception.

Close to beach, ok rooms, good pool. Good breakfast and free drinks in the evening, wireless and beach chairs included -> good value for money. Takes 30-45 minutes to walk to south beach restaurant area but cheap and easy to take taxi (10 dollar for up to 5 persons). I would clearly recommend this hotel if you get a rate around 100 dollars per night.

The bedroom overlooking the street was noisy and could do with double glazing, the hotel should have some means for providing hot water for baby's milk.

Very nice hotel, great staff, friendly and helpful. Cute pool and nice rooms. We first got a nice room but with a bad view, asked for another room and were given a very nice one with pool view straight away. The hotel is located right near the beach, in a calm area. Only 20 streets away from all the fun and crazy night life of south beach. Nice and calm for the day. Just perfect. I definitely would recommend it, and go there again.

When we arrived there was a slight setback with our dates of arrival entered incorrectly so we had a wait for our room to be ready. But otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel, our room was very clean, choice for breakfast was good and the staff were extremely friendly and Raphael was always on hand to give advice on buses etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel - even with its 'quirky' RED lift!!!!

The hotel obviously wants to create a young and modern atmosphere with young and loud music over the loudspeakers in the foyer, the bar and at the pool, and very young people at the reception desk, very nice and helpful, but not knowing very much about the hotel's own wireless connection and the name of the outgoing server... At my arrival I thought that I was too old (early 60's) for this hotel. But my room was excellent, white, clean and comfortable, and I was not disturbed by music there. And the self-service breakfast was very good at the price. On top of that there was just 50 meters to the beach and the ocean. So after all, I would not mind staying at the Circa 39 Hotel on my next visit...

very nice clean hotel,big spacious rooms.The pool area was also lovely but no other facilities and breakfast in the morning was useless,it reminded me of a student hostel with everyone standing around the only toaster!!!!.You get what you pay for but the pool area more than compensated.

Hard to find, but very modern,clean and 5 minute walk to beach. Nice pool pity the bar was pricey. Book a taxi if you want to go out to dinner as nowhere local in walking distance. Excellent value for money

We've stayed here twice and love it. Groovy and hip. Lovely bright room and staff are sensational. Recommend to anyone travelling to Miami.
