Citadel Inn Makati

Citadel Inn is located in Makati's famous bar strip BURGOS STREET. It is an old building with old rooms and old bathromm equipment. Nevertheless, the price is OK, and it is clean. Aircon is working. ...what else would you want ...? :-)

situated right in the eart of Makatis Night Bar strip , on Burgos Street, it is an excellent launching platform for a non-business visit there.

very noisy even in the high storeys. in the middle of the very hot district of manila, very busy 24h a day. good value for money, many promotions, it's quite cheap.

This hotel is easily located in Makati City, within walking distance from Ayala Centre and Ayala Station. Mini Stop, 7-eleven, Mang Inasal, Jollibee and McDonald's are all within 5 minutes' walk. Decent room at this price. There is even a balcony with view of Makati City. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I requested late checkout at 2pm and finally checked out at 3pm without any problems. The only drawback is its lack of amenities. Dryer, cups and tea bags are yet to be found. I will stay in this hotel again and will recommend it to others.

Tired but ok hotel. Facilities to cook your own food in your room which is nice. Lift was being repaired for 36 hrs whilst i was there......... i was staying on 14th floor !!!!!!. But was all ok.

me & my wife loved our stay at the hotel.the stafe were friendly.the room we had booked wasn`t available.so we got an upgrade that lasted the hole 12 day`s.the room has a 2 ring hob.u also have a fridge.switch it on.top right just under the cooler.the hotel switches off all electrical appliance`s when the room is not in use.our room was cleaned daily.do ask them to leave u an extra toilet roll.believe me it comes in handy.both lifts r working.the only thing i didn`t like about the room was the wicker chair`s.the cushions were not thick enough.if u sat long enough.u got a sore backside.other wise.i have no complint with my stay.we would definitely stay at this hotel again.within 2 minutes of the hotel u can find places 2 eat,buy booze.clubs. massage.sorry lads no extras.after dark u can find a working girl.only use taxis with a meter.if you meat any beggars just say ( welang pera ) it means no money.i hope ur stay is as pleasant as my stay.

You have to ride a taxi if u want to go glorita or green belt there are many resturents and bars just stone throwing distance rooms are smal but clean and well maintain if u want a a hotel in cheap price then citadel is best

Good hotel for the money. Book online, NOT at the hotel counter or they will charge you twice the internet price. Also, don't let the doorman call you a taxi, you will end up paying 1000x's the meter price...maybe the doorman gets a cut of the profits...hotel is decently clean and inexpensive (internet price).

one of best value for your money. Very good location near Makati night clubs. But hotel didn't have hot water to room one day.

CITADEL INN Makati is located in Burgos Street, one of the bar miles in Manila/Makati. The building itself is fairly old, and has become a home for long-stayers from Arabic countries who search an affordable stay - which already describes the majority of clients. But it is cheap - 35 to 50 US$ per night, and it comes with a one-bedroom (35 $) or one-bedroom-one-livingroom-one-kitchen (50 $) size of accomodation. All rooms have a AC (aircondition) and electric hot water. Make sure the boiler is plugged in! I experienced once a cold shower for days, until someone told me ... hehhe >> To be recommended when (a) you stay a week or more , (b) enjoy Burgos nite life , (c) search for a cheap but clean accomodation. P.S. the location is girl-friendly, overnite guests need to register.

It has a reasonable and affordable accomodation prices but requires trained and approachable staff and personnels.

Very near to shopping mall, friendly staff.

Don't know what to say more.. but basically if you wanna have a night of your life with local stuff, the location of the hotel is absolutely the best! Everything is just few steps far from the hotel (bars, pubs, restaurants, night clubs, etc.). For this kind "of fun" I can recommend this hotel.

good value for the price and the people/service staff are very helpful. great command of the English language.

I have no complaint & I got what I paid for. Very convenient location, plenty of shops, money changers & the city map provided is very useful.

kinda small for a hotel room but adequate given the price. good value. service generally ok although it took a day to request a reading lamp in the room

I would stay here again the price was right and the people very friendly. There is lots to do and good places to eat and is not to far from the airport.I think it was about 200 or 250 peso to get there.

the hotel is located near lots of restaurants and is right on the red light district. it's walking distance from the business and shopping district
