Citadines Apartments Holborn Covent Garden London

This place made for a great stay in london. The three of us were staying for two weeks so this apartment had plenty of space for us to spread out versus a traditional hotel room. We also loved the location right next to the Holborn tube station. Our favorite feature of all though was the hot chocolate machine in the lobby!!!

Very good hotel in excellent location, with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Staff are very friendly and efficient, and we were given our room early after arriving on a 5:30am flight - greatly appreciated.

We've stayed here twice, each time in a studio apartment. Around 2 min walk from Holborn tube. Nearby buses go to Oxford Circus, Waterloo Station, etc. Couple of mins walk to Sainsbury opposite Holborn tube. Around 10 min walk to British museum. Public transport connections handy for business/leisure. Free Internet connection in room. Living room, kitchen and bathroom all clean. Carpet a little bit old but fine. Kitchen well equipped with stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster. Hair dryer and air heater in bathroom. Comfortable sofa style bed. Supplied bed cover wasn't really sufficient for winter (for us). Extra linen is available at reception for a charge. Reception friendly. You can request late check-out, 12 noon, without extra charge. The second time we stayed here we were put in a room that was a little bit tatty and overused. We notified reception and they moved us to a much better room immediately. We'd stay here again.

I thought that the bed was unconfortable with the sheets supplied inadequate for the time of year. Other than that the hotel was fine.

As a London hotel, room was bigger than I expected. Furnitures very basic, not a beautiful room. Near tube, very well located. Good choise for those who look for an easy place to sleep without any luxury.

Studio fold down beds not comfortable. Otherwise all fine.

I will definately stay at this hotel again. The location was perfect, very helpful, friendly staff and the room was excellent, very clean and comfortable.

4 person apartment in central london next to bars and shops for under 200 pounds - a good deal.

I have only used this as a basic place to work from whilst in London and for this it is ideal, I am not sure I would use it for a holiday/break premises.

Staff were pleasant, after arriving late to Kings Cross on a long train ride from York, it was only a 10 pounds cab ride for the family. Very close to British museum & easy subway access. Room was good for anyone with kids. Clean, everything worked. Kitchenette convenient. Good value overall. After all I heard about bad beds in London, I was pleasantly surprised that they were fine.

Good location, I thought for the price I would receive breakfast.

The studio itself was very roomy, bright and homely. The air-conditioning was the main attraction when booking as the weather was very hot and many hotels did not offer air conditioned rooms. The breakfast was disappointing and the menu could have been better for such a good location. I would certainly recommend it to my friends passing through London.

good central location next to Holborn tube, friendly and helpful staff + free access to internet and printer. Eat breakfast across the road -expensive in hotel and Sainsbury's 50 m away to stock-up fridge.

If you are staying for sometime the apartment set up is ideal. Everything was great...for the price. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, really first class. I will stay here again. Really near to Holborn tube as well (across the road).

Excellent location for getting around town, near the Strand and of course the Covent Garden market area. The free use of a computer to check our e-mail while away from home was an unexpected and delightful extra.

Would definitely stay at Citadines again on next visit to London. Excellent location, Holborn underground is directly across the street and Theatre Land within walking distance.
