This hotel was perfect for my long weekend in London. It was clean and quiet. Also very close to the tube. I was in town to attend South Pacific at the Barbican and this was the perfect location. The room doesn't have daily maid service which was actually very nice- no one knocking on the door at 7am or vacuuming in the hall while you are trying to sleep. The room is like a mini apartment. You have a great kitchen area so if you want to stock the fridge or save a little money by preparing your own breakfast it's easily done. I enjoyed my stay very much.
The bed whilst being a sofabed was very comfortable and could be set up easily. Staff were helpful and well presented. Would use again both for business and leisure.
Excellent location. Strange "sofa bed" arrangement - but it worked OK.
This time we had a studio at the back-side of the aparthotel: much more quiet than the street-side! For our purpose the location of this hotel is fine and good reachable coming from Luton-airport or Gatwick by First Capital Connect to Farringdon station!
Facilities in the room were good. There was all you need in the kitchen: micro-wave; dish-washer; water kettle, all necessary plates and etc. TESCO is just down the street if you need to get some food. Metro is also very close. Despite our windows were to the street, it has no been noisy. When booking the room there was no option to choose only a double bed, so unfortunately we got a twin room with very funny bed. It was not too comfortable for a couple.
Great Location, with good facilities for the price paid.
We had a nice room with a very good kitchen. Everthing was great.
very helpful and friendly reception staff...
So clean and a great little kitchen, check with hotel directly once booked to make sure they allocte you your specific needs ie a double or a twin freindly staff
Good value for money and convenient for work
The room smelled quite badly
Location and price great for the work I was doing in London. Only marred by cold room and broken DVD player
I was working just round the corner from the hotel so location and price suited me well. Only rpoblem was that there's not much to do in the evening in the immediate are. However the in-room DVD player was a great plus.
Ideally located for our purpose. Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent but on the expensive side. Hotel very close to the underground. Will stay again if we need to be in this area.
Lack of air con, very hot rooms.
Friendly staff, very clean room. Free internet worked just fine. Fold out bed was a little bit uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad as others have stated. I slept just fine. I would definitely stay again.
As a single woman staying in this accommodation, I felt very safe due to the double door system which both required a key. If visiting the City of London, this location could not have been better placed.
Very clean, good cooking facilities and close to the real interesting areas of london 4 mins walk and you are in st pauls or by the bank of england or by the river. Busy location but so quiet at night with good quality windows, reception very swift and friendly. 10/10
Citadines is very convenient for the Barbican. Room has fold-a-way bed which leaves little room for manoeuvre when down, however, furnishings are smart and new and compact and comfortable for a short stay in London.
Conveniently near the tube. Rooms are small though but that is London...
