Efficient friendly staff. Downstairs sofa bed not very comfortable and still had blankets. No duvet! Upstairs beds very comfortable and warm. Heat tended to disappear upstairs. Kitchen well-equipped but no socket for kettle in kitchen and had to hold switch down until it boiled.

I was really impressed , clean, modern room, spacious, fresh sheets & all very very pleasant. Especially for the price & in busy London pre Christmas.

This hotel was an incredible value! The pros: newly renovated, stylish, very comfortable bed, nicely equipped kitchen, and the location was great - a short walk to the Gloucester Road tube stop, which connects to 3 lines. The cons: the young staff were not fluent in English, the phone in our room didn't work and it took a couple of days for them to fix it, our third-floor room was so warm that we had to keep the window open, even though it was in the 60's most of the time, and the hair dryer could only be plugged into the outlet in the kitchen, which did not have a mirror.

overall a very pleasant stay, reception staff very helpfull. some noise from building works during day.

I was last at this hotel in September 2007 and I am pleased to see that the hotel has started providing items for breakfast and basic needs for coffee/tea in the rooms. This is a great improvement and really helps to make you feel welcome. I have also been told that there is a plan for refurbishment to all the rooms and I look forward to seeing the newly decorated rooms. I stay at this hotel frequently and am always pleased to return.

Cheerful decor, comfortable beds, great kitchenette with microwave, fridge, stovetop, oven, sink, tea kettle, dishes, pots and pans (everything we needed). Convenient walking location to the underground and Hyde Park. We would definitely stay here again.

The friendly front office staff are more than willing to help. They gladly offered to take me to the airport at 6.30 am at very short notice and at a very discounted rate. Three cheers to them!

Clean, smart apartment hotel in a lovely area of London near museums and other sites. Good facilities (supermarket, cafes, restaurants, pubs) around the corner in Gloucester Road. Staff very friendly and efficient.
