Citadines Ramblas Aparthotel Barcelona

Good size room with great location. It was nice having a kitchen area with the necessary extras provided. The only complaint was that there was no Wi-Fi available anywhere in the hotel except at the one hotel computer. Though all the advertisements and signs throughout the hotel promised internet access, we were never able to access it on our computers during our entire stay. We had to share use of the one hotel computer with the other people staying at the hotel.

LOve to stay here again in my next visit to barcelona. Had a great stay there.

I like the location as it is near to train, bus and the port. Free coffee, free internet enables me to keep contact with family, friendly staff speaking English. But it is a bit too old, may be it is my room, anyway needs upgrade.

We are very satisfied with the hotel. The staff was friendly and the service was good. But we stayed there four nights and the room was not cleaned and the towels were not changed because we had not payed for it. Only one computer for internet. Very good location.

My first visit to this hotel. Location great, rooms would need a renovation, cleanliness.... well tipically spanish. The staff... well the lady was very helpfull, but the guys are just a pitty (unfriedly, unhelpful, looking tired of pissed off). Overall the place is ok and I will come back again when heading to Barcelona. But dont expect too much from the staff.

Superbly located on La Ramblas. Didn't expect daily servicing of apartment and didn't want it anyway, so that was not a problem for us. I note that for extra euros daily servicing could be provided if required. Our apartment (205) opened to La Ramblas so we enjoyed the passing parade of people and the hush glass meant that we weren't bothered by noise at night. I would not have wanted one of the apartments not opening to the street as they would not have been nearly as interesting!

Great location, but our "serviced" studio apartment was not serviced over our 4 days there. Towels and bedding a tad torrid and the end of it...Roll-out beds were, to put it mildly "uncomfortable". Bathroom plumbing incredibly slow eg Sink would take 10 minutes to empty after just brushing teeth. Place needs a revamp on how it is maintained.

The best location as possible, specialy the rooms with a balcony on La Rambla street. A litlle kitchen was useful for make a breakfast (we didn't cook). We stayed there 3 days, but they didn't change the sheets, not even the towels! The shower was practicaly unavailable - with only a few drops off (hot) water, but this is a 3 star hotel, you must account this. We recommend this hotel, because off amazing location and very helpful staff.

We appreciated the kitchenette which meant we could prepare our own food and not have to eat out every day. While housekeeping was only weekly it was adequate. Location was great. Staff friendly and helpful. We will now look for other Citadines hotels in other parts of the world when we travel. A good experience.

The location of this hotel was excellent! No complain. The staff was very helpful and the price was good. There were only 3 things we were not so satisfied. 1. very bad smell from the garbage bin under the kitchen sink 2. the hair dryer was not working well 3. the church bell was quite noisy and starting early in the morning

Good location, rooms and bathroom will need to be renovated within some time

Enjoyed the hotel very much, it was clean and had a great location, especially as we had a balcony overlooking the ramblas. Only negative note was that we arrived on the saturday and left on the tuesday with no towels replaced. All in all i would return to the hotel and would recommend it to friends.

Great apartment in a central position

The best of many Citadines we have stayed on ... Studio larger than usual, good normal doublebed, ok sittinggroup, fantastic location and great view from window/balcony. "Noice" from Ramblas was no problem at all.

I was dissappointed to find that when i booked a twin room it didn't have 2 single beds but a sofa bed and camp bed. Apart from that the amenties and hotel location were excellent, and i would stay there again. The room was spotlessly clean and hotel staff very helpful. The hotel is close to a supermarket on Las Ramblas

Overall a very good and convenient place to stay. Perfect location. I was travelling alone and felt very safe. Cleaning was no problem. I was there 1 week and it got cleaned on Wednesday which was ideal. Only thing that disappointed me was that the sun terrace was closed for refurbishment and no apology or refund was offered. The terrace was the key selling point for me over other hotels and the reason I was willing to pay a bit more. This was a real shame. Chcek with the hotel before you book!

If your going to barcelona, this is the place to be. La Ramblas is the heartbeat of the city. Room was excellent with good amenities and very clean. Across from the hotel is a supermarket and market which makes it even easier to set yourself up. Staff were ok and made so good suggestions on our stay. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed while we were there. I would gladly stay there again.
