Citadines Shanghai Jinqiao

We checked in, and found that the booking was not verified by RatesToGo with their front desk. The staff was extremely patient and helpful. Eventually, they use our voucher to get a room for us. However, RatesToGo has it as 1 bedroom for Quad stay, whereas the only rooms for Quad are 2 bedrooms. The cost was doubled ! After some time, the front desk manager, Vincent Zhang, decided to allow us to have the 2bdrm unit for the same price, so we had a big upgrade. They were always helpful, rooms always cleaned, and of course the great location was superb. If we go Shanghai again, we will definitely consider this hotel apartment again. Thumbs up to all the staff and service.

Central location just 5 min walk from Peoples Park Metro Stn and Nanjing Rd pedestrian Street. Room service anticipated our needs when supplies were running out.

The stay at Citadines was very good. Room was clean and well equiped with everything you need. The location was excellence and the service too. I will stay there again and recommend to friends.

This hotel was in an excellent location, close to shopping in Nanjing Raod, close to subways and restaurants. One of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time. Would definitely stay at this hotel again when in Shanghai.

Good position of the hotel. Very helpful personal at the reception and in restaurant too. But their english is poor. To reach all attraction in the Shanghai you can use Metro station just 200 m behind the hotel. You can catch taxi the street and price can not be more than 30 yuan anywhere.

Very reasonably priced for a prime location like this. Hotel is clean and bright, speedy check-in and out ... The staff know what they are doing so that kinda cut down a lot of communication if language is a problem. Room is big and things are all in working conditions so u don't need to deal with housekeeping & etc. Has starbuck and restaurants downstairs and nearby, walking distance to Raffles shopping center & Nanjing Lu pedestrian mall. I had a pleasant, no-fuss stay and will definitely come back again.

The room was very pleasant and had plenty of space for me to feel like home. I would book at the Citadines again for my next stay.

I would recommend anyone to use this Hotel, they have a team of good staff and its location is very convenient to move around. Ciao...

Ideal for a big group. Walking distance to Nanking Street and metro lines.

i was very pleasantly surprised with Citadines, Shanghai.I loved the newly renovated look, it is warm and cosy. the staff were very friendly and informative. i loved the little touches available like free books, a decent reading area, TV lobby. internet facilities, and the room - very sensitively done.I especially liked the fully equipped kitchenette even though i didn't cook anything. Just the thought that i have all that i needed to whip up a meal with clean utensils was comfort enough. i've been to many 3/4 * hotels in china and was terrified of hard beds and pillows, so i brought my own pillow.Here, the beds are comfortable and pillows soft,so i felt rather silly. The french restaurant is quaint and sweet.Around the corner, there's a convenience store. a block away, it's a departmental store and the subway. In all, this place surpassed my expectations in terms of ambience and comfort and something about it's simplicity warmed my heart.

The hotel is a modern hotel located only 5 minutes from the Nanjing Road. It is an excellent location and the hotel is extremely clean and the staff are very pleasant - although not many of them speak English. There was a buffet breakfast every morning for about 4 euro which was good value. And there is a French restaurant next door to the hotel and a small convenience shop about 60 seconds away. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay there - and the free Internet access in the lobby was a bonus!
