Getting there:From Melbourne International Airport - located approximately a 40 minute taxi ride ($45-$60 approx) or you can catch the Skybus service, which will drop you at Spencer Street Bus terminal ($16 approx). Driving, we are located on the corner of Queen & Little Collins Street. Little Collins is a one way street running west. The car park entrance is located on Little Collins Street. (Not associated with hotel-Guest discount applies)

From check in, to check out our stay was very comfortable. Perfect location and close to all areas. The best for us was the front desk staff and especially Tapu. Tapu was always helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Whatever he is getting paid he deserves more! Kind Regards, Mike
Location wise, this hotel is wonderful; with an easy walk to shopping, casino, restaurants and Southbank. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe. Unfortunately there is a night club there too, which I could hear from my room, even though I was on the sixth floor. I also had major issue with the shower. The water came out in every direction but straight down. Luckily I was tall enough that my head was immediately under the shower head, otherwise I would've come out drier than I went in. I thought the kettle was a bit disgusting. The element inside clear had seen better days. I wasn't too impressed with how they did not make my room up to standard after my first night (stayed two nights). They simply came in and just pulled the sheets up on the bed and that was it. They didn't even remake the bed, just literally pulled the sheets/blanket back up to the top. The parking situation was a bit of a rip off. I was informed that it was a bit over $20 per 24 hours to park. Which in the city I would accept. However, you have to repay that fee every time you take your take out of the garage and re-enter. So if you plan to drive your car anywhere during your stay, you would be up for a huge bill. Luckily it was a public holiday, when I was there, so there was free street parking the whole time. That said, I found a number of other places for parking that were much cheaper and very close by. But, for $99 a night in that location, I guess you get what you pay for.

The signs at the entrance are not prominent and only say ' CQ ' rather than Citiclub Hotel. I would have missed it but found it because of street no. 113. Raja Salgado
The hotel is old but clean and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good and had a choice of continental and hot bacon and eggs. It is close to all the shopping precincts. We walked everywhere and only caught the trams as a tour.
A very comfortable hotel in the melb CBD. Although there is a nightclub on the premises, Fri-sun, there wasn't a noticeable noise level. ( room on the 5th floor southern end of the building Good value $99.00 per night inc a hearty Buffet b'fast for two
Live with my parents in 3 days across the weekend. The night club on 1st and 2nd floor is just too noisy to fall in sleep. You can feel the base every beeps and faster than your heart beating....After saturday night, there is no night clubbing over the night and you will feel you fall in the heaven. the staffs are helpful and warmly welcome. The fare is cheap and only because this reason you can blame more than a price.
What a bargain! Got a great deal of room, buffet breakfast and late checkout for a great price. Very comfortable and clean - for the price was not expecting to be as nice so was a wonderful surprise!! Would definitely stay again.
Great location and fantastic reception staff who were very caring and helpful...Was ideal for our stay as we had to attend a Christmas party at the RACV Club..Great late check out and an amazing full breakfast inc in the price..Thoroughly recommend.
Location was fine for what I needed. Hotel is a bit tired and dated but otherwise ok.
Ok, the room was pretty good, but the bathroom - particularly the shower was really dissappointing. For starters, it was just hot enough (i didnt turn the cold water tap on at all!) secondly the shower head was low and the water spurt was sooo narrow. The housekeeping was almost annoying - one day they took off our pillowcases and didnt replace them, for example. And for some reason we didnt have a do not disturb sign. We were on the 7th level, so could hear a little noise from the club below, but only in the bathroom really. we both slept well, as the bed was comfy as! Though i wouldnt recommend being on level 5 or below!! We did have breakfast included - and i must say - it was AWESOME. Excellent range of hot and cold foods, with friendly staff.
great location, nice room, helpful and nice staff... Breakfast is good...the friday party did not borther me at all ... we really enjoy our stay... Will come back again!

Welcomed by very friendly staff with a free bottle of wine, room was very spacious and comfortable, easy walk to Melbourne,s iconic laneways for dinner. Only negative for us was noise from downstairs nightclub but we had been warned so can't complain. Breakfast was plentiful and late checkout was a huge bonus as we were booked for lunch in the city and it was pouring with rain so not good " wandering" weather.
The overall experience was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only criticism was the tired decor. The floor we stayed on needs revamping and the room is in need of a repaint. Apart from those minor problems, I would stay there again.
Only a one night stand, but best value for money I have had in Melbourne for 4 years.
hotel is tired and needs a spruce up, the gym is dilapadated. Bar and restaraunt are excellent - great meal. Close to everything. Stayed 3 nights yet did not get our rooms serviced once, sorry they did offer to do it at 6.30pm when we were in our room. Windows filthy unable to see view outside. Really would of been much better if rooms had a small balcony. When booked was told it was a smoking room with twin beds only. Upon arrival told that hotel was completely non smoking and so we were stuck with the twin beds.
overall comfortable relaxing was on the 7th floor so was perfect for the night club below only heard a little bit of noise when the tv was off, otherwise easier enough to sleep, if your a light sleeper request 7th floor. breakfast was basic but good value for money. would definatley stay again. close to shops reaustrants and train station.
This hotel is a real find. Very reasonably priced, central to everything in the city, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely comfortable room with everything we needed - including herbal teas!!! Will certainly stay here again.

Stayed at Citiclub for three nights in October (Fri-Mon) Arived in Melbourne early staff let me chck in early. Hotel Elevators are a bit slow jerky and old but get the job done.. Room is large clean (with the exception of the external windows) Only fault is old style CRT TV. Free Breakfast was good. Location is perfect shaort walk to the centre of Melbourne, Crown and docklands. Other review complain about the noise on Friday and Saturday nights, Friday I did not get back to my room until 8am so was not a problem, Saturday returned to room at11:30, yes there was some noise from the nightclub/bar, but no worse than any other hotel. Had a great stay.
