Cititel Penang Hotel

Location is good. It is within the town with different type of food. I was given a smoking room but did not noticed any stale trace smoking smell. Taxi stand just opposite hotel. Good for all age range.

Location is very good, very convenient to everywhere, environment hotel and room are very clean, counter services are best, and they keep smiling alaways :) The only drawback is car parking Not enough,We are forced to spend a lot of time to find car park after we having lunch back to hotel. Is the hotel worth considering :)

Had an enjoyable stay... only issue i had was the size of the room which i found quite small!, else no complaints..

Hotel little old and rundown. depending on room type, could be a little small or decent size. We got upgraded so room size was decent, however room still had simple decor with minimal amenities. Bed squeaky, pillow's hard, blanket old and yellowish (needs proper blanket cover). Jacuzzi swimming pool is really small, hence should not be labelled a swimming pool. No free internet. Location a little far from main shopping area (ie.Komtar), very noisy at night with clubs nearby. The positive,free parking for hotel guests if have own vehicle and free water. Will not stay here again.

Room was clean and staff were helpful and provided prompt service. Parking is free for in-house guest which was good for us who rented a car to travel in Penang. Good local food in the area with plenty of drinking spots nearby.

The location is right in the middle of the city which is the big plus point. However for the price we paid for, we did not have breakfast and no wifi thrown in. The room aircon. controller is not working, which explains why there is a ceiling fan in the room ! When complained, a serviceman came and he throttled the controller to the minimum temperature setting and 'on' the fan. That's it ! Staff are friendly and helpful.

good value for hotel in town. Cost more than budget hotels but facilities are much better.

some service advertised in room were not available, minor inconvenience enjoyed our stay, breakfast was substantial

Very dated rooms and received a smoking room. Pool very nice and located in the heart of the city.

the reception services is not up to 4 stars hotel services.poor english, poor soft-skill of the self presentation. The room Television is too small.only 14 inch!!! this is the first 4 stars hotel i been stayed so far with the smallest TV!!!

Basic hotel, limited TV channels, good breakfast selection, and good location for city exploration.

Good location and service for tourists in this lovely city. Good location but the upgraded room only included a safe (compared to standard). Swimming pool - plunge pool only. Breakfasts are great.

Lobby is big and impressive but the room i was in needed total rennovation. Japanese restaurant was fantastic. There's a large restaurant where breakfast is served but bit like a school canteen. Staff weren't overly helpful. Wouldn't stay here again or recommend it!!

Good comfortable hotel. Location was good and hotel staff friendly.

The hotel is in the heart of everything...food , entertainment, gals.. =)

Internet facilities in rooms should be advertised as payable service!
